Step 1 Leading in
Shw animal pictures r vides and rganise “Guess What Yu Say” games.The teacher describes the animals’ lks and habits,and lets the students guess the animals’ names.
Step 2 Pre⁃reading
1.Shw the pictures f pigens and let students describe their lks.Ask sme students t share their answers.
2.Tick the wrds t describe pigens.
3.Let students scan the blgs and find ut the wrds Henry used.Then chse anther suitable title.
4.Share and check.
Step 3 While⁃reading
1.Divide students int grups and assign different blg paragraphs t each grup.Guide students t identify the wrds used by Henry t describe pigens.
2.Let the students read the blgs carefully and use the wrds f Henry’s feelings t fill in the blanks.
