通过听力练习和对话演练,提升学生的听说和朗读能力。学习本模块的新单词、短语和句型,学习新语言点,增加学生的语言积累。从本模块开始学习一个新的句型—— there be句型。练习朗读中的重读,提升学生在英语口语表达中的规范性和美感度。通过对应练习,巩固学生对单词、短语、句型和语法的掌握,提升运用能力。
教学目标
通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:
1. 知识目标
掌握本单元新单词及短语: cmputer, furniture, map, picture, televisin, wall, thirty, frty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, really, many, hw many, there, lt, a lt f, h, any, wrld, tree。
2. 能力目标
(1)能够听懂关于谈论班级的对话;用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。
(2)学习there be 句型的基本用法。
3. 情感目标
通过听说训练,培养热爱学校的意识。

Step 1 Leading in
1. Ask the students t lk arund, and then ask what they knw abut their classrm, asking“What’s in ur classrm?”.
2. Pint at different things arund the rm asking what“this”, “that”, “these”and “thse”are. Remind them t use these wrds in their questins and think abut the meaning.
3. Use a student example(e. g. cmputer)and ask“What abut a cmputer?”t intrduce“There is a(n)...”and d several single bjects. Repeat chrally and individually.
4. Then elicit and intrduce plurals with “sme” the same way using student
examples, “There are sme...”Repeat chrally and individually.
Step 2 Warming up
1. Ask the students t lk at the pictures and talk abut them. (Activity 1 n Page 14)
Step 3 Listen and read
1. Ask the students t listen and chse the crrect picture in Activity 1.

(1)Ask the students t lk at the numbers and try saying them t themselves r wrk with a partner.

3. Match the wrds with the numbers. (Activity 6 n Page 15)
(1)Ask the students t match the written numbers and the figures individually and then check with a partner.

Step 6 Language pints
1. furniture 不可数名词,意为“家具”,无复数形式,不能用 a/an, many, few等修饰,但可以用much, little, a lt f等修饰。“一件家具”用a piece f furniture表示;“一套家具”用a set f furniture表示。furniture 作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
The furniture in the rm is very nice. 这个房间里的家具很漂亮。
There is a lt f furniture in this shp. 这家商店里有很多家具。
2. Linda, what’s yur classrm in England like?琳达,你们英格兰的教室是什么样子的?
“What’s+sth. +like?”意为“某物是什么样子的?”,用于询问某物的特点、性质等,相当于“Hw’s+sth. ?”。like 此处用作介词,意为“像”。
—What’s yur huse like?=Hw is yur huse?你们的房子什么样?
—It’s very big. 非常大。
[拓展](1)“What’s+sb. +like?”常用来询问某人的性格特征。
—What’s yur father like?你爸爸是一个怎样的人?
—He’s very friendly. 他很友好。
(2)当用来询问某人的身材或长相,即外貌时,其结构为“What+d/des+ sb. +lk like?”,回答时可用“Sb. +be+形容词.”或“Sb.+have/has+形容词+名词.”。
