    教学目标

    1. 知识目标

    Key vocabulary:

    Key sentences:

    Linda, what’s your classroom in England like?

    There are thirty students in my class.

    Is there a lot of furniture?

    1. 能力目标

    To listen and understand the simple conversation about the school.

    To use vocabulary and phrases correctly in this unit.

    1. 情感目标

    ①Let students actively participate in the classroom and speak English boldly.

    Cultivate students' awareness of loving school.

    教学重点

    ①To describe the class and classroom facilities.

        To learn the structure and specific usage of “there be”

     sentence pattern.

    教学难点

    Be able to understand the exact use of be in the sentence pattern there be.

    教学准备

    教师准备:tape recorder, courseware

    学生准备:textbook, exercise book

    教学过程

    1. Lead-in:

    ①Let the students find out the numbers in the pictures and say them in English.

    ②Then students talk with their partners and teacher checks the answer.

    1. Presentation

    Task 1 Learn the new words

    ①Teacher asks students to look at the pictures and talk about them.

    ②Teacher asks students to listen and choose the correct picture in Activity 1.

    ③Organize the students to read the new words together.

    Task 2 Listen and read.

    ①Play the tape, ask students to listen and choose the correct answers.

    ②Ask students to skim the conversation and then check the answer.

    Guide the students to listen to the conversation again and complete the table.

    Organize the students to read the conversation with the recording.

    ⑤Ask the students to work with their groups to read the conversation.

    ⑥Check all the answers to the questions.

    Task 3

    ①Organize students to come to the blackboard and show out some difficult language points that they found.

    ②Teacher explains the language points.

    ③Teacher shows the important sentences.

    ④Ask the students to read through the sentences.

    1. Practice

    Ask students to finish the practice.

    (1)根据句意,用be动词的正确形式填空。

    ①There ______ three books on the desk.

    ②There ______ a map and some pictures on the blackboard.

    教学反思

    This course cultivates students' cooperative spirit and develop their thinking and imagination. In this class, multimedia means are used to assist teaching. This course allows students to combine their existing knowledge and experience with the basic language knowledge they have learned to learn from each other.
