教学目标 | Knowledge objectives ①Key vocabulary: mile, round, northwest, southeast, from time to time, compared to ②Key sentences: The weather gets cooler, and the green leaves start to turn gold then brown. Take your swimming clothes because you might want to go swimming in the sea, even in December. In Seattle, in the northwest, it is not very cold but it rains a lot, so bring an umbrella. In Texas and the southeast, it is usually very hot and sunny compared to other places. Ability objectives ①Be able to read and understand the article about the weather in American States. ②Be able to use vocabulary and phrases correctly in this unit. Emotional objectives ①Let students actively participate in communicative activities and speak English boldly. ②Develop students' interest in learning geographic knowledge as well as making plans of traveling based on this knowledge. |
