【第一课时】
【教学目标】
(一)语言目标
1.词汇:能基本听懂、会说、认读新单词breakfast, lunch, dinner, soup, vegetables, tomato, potato.
2.句型:能初步询问他人“Do you want some rice?”并能用“Yes, please. / No, thank you.”回答.
(二)应用目标
1.能有礼貌地询问他人的需求.
2.能对别人的询问恰当地表达感谢或拒绝.
【教学重难点】
1.重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词breakfast, lunch, dinner, soup, vegetables, tomato, potato.能询问他人“Do you want some rice?”并能用“Yes, please.”/ “No, thank you.”回答.
2.难点:some more, a little的理解和应用是难点,因为在口语对话中会经常用到,所以要弄清它们的含义.B部分单词的发音也是难点.breakfast含有不完全爆破音,vegetables要特别注意复数形式,tomato, potato要多读,加强记忆.
【教学准备】
单词卡片、课文录音、课本图片等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件).
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1.Greetings
2.Game: Funny face
第一遍,教师读句子,学生听音画画,考查学生的听力.第二遍,由学生自己画,并描述出所画人物的外貌.要求学生尽可能画得滑稽可笑一些,这样更有助于加强他们的兴趣.如:
Draw a long face. There are two small eyes on the face. There are two big ears on the head.Draw a round nose. Draw a big mouth. Draw some short hair on the head.Oh, what a funny face!
这个游戏是为了复习第一单元学的人物外貌的内容.
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.New words
(1)Listen to the tape of Part B and repeat.
(2)运用“直观教学法”教授新词,让学生学习体验生活中的英语.
a.出示面包和水.
T: These are bread and water. They are my breakfast.
板书breakfast,学生书空.
b.出示牛肉和汤.
T: These are beef and soup. They are my lunch.
板书:lunch,学生书空.
c.出示面条和蔬菜.
T: These are noodles and vegetables. They are my dinner.
板书:dinner,学生书空.先学三餐的单词,帮助学生构成整体印象.用食物图片引出三餐的单词,使学生对三餐吃不同的东西有区分.
再板书:soup, vegetableso
强调:Vegetables are healthy to our body.帮助学生树立正确的饮食观.
d.出示西红柿和马铃薯.
T: I often have some tomatoes and potatoes at lunch.
板书:tomato, potato,学生书空.
2.Practice
Game:分一分
玩食物单词卡片游戏.教师首先准备好单词卡片若干张,贴在黑板上.卡片可以包括:fish, chicken, beef, coffee, tea, Coke, hamburger, vegetables, cake, apple pie, French fries, hot dog, pizza, sandwich, ice cream, sausage, noodles, meat, bun.卡片应该一面是单词,一面是图片,以便学生熟悉了以后能看词想图.让学生边指着图片边说:“I like vegetables.”/ “I don't like buns.”并将喜欢的卡片放进一个盒子,把不喜欢的放进另一个盒子里进行分类.这个游戏承前启后,巩固了旧知,操练了新知,对一些难词又有了拓展性的认识.
3.The dialogue
(1)Lead in
T: Today is Sunday. The children are having lunch at Lingling's home. Let's come and look: Who are having lunch?
(2)Listen to the tape.(有条件的学校可以播放多媒体课件)
Question: Who are having lunch?
带着任务来听,训练学生“有目的地听”的意识和能力.
Answer: Peter, Anne, Dongdong, Mrs Chen and Lingling.
如果学生不能及时回答,可以借助图片,找一找有几个不同的人物,并鼓励学生要熟悉教材人物.
(3)Read after the tape and tick in the chart.
根据课文内容,在下面的表格中打钩.这样学生对人物所选择的食物有了更加深入的认识.

III. 角色表演(Act and play)
1.Read in roles.将全班分成四组,分别朗读Peter, Anne, Dongdong, Mrs Chen的角色对话.
2.请学生上台进行对话表演,教师给予评价.评选“优胜组”,加两颗星,还可以评选“勇气可嘉组”、“语言流利组”,分别加一颗星.教师应根据学生不同的现场表现,给予不同的、有针对性的、有创意的评价,激发他们口语表达的兴趣和欲望.
IV. 趣味练习(Practice)
Game: Magic Guess
同学之间互相用“Do you want some …?”提问.如果猜错了,就说“No, thank you.”猜对了,就说“Yes, please.”两次或两次以内猜对的人就是“神猜手”(Magic Guesser).如:
S1: I feel hungry. I want to eat something.
S2: Do you want some chicken?
S1: No, thank you.
S2: Do you want some rice?
S1: No, thank you.
S2: Do you want some vegetables?
S1: Yes, please.

1.跟读录音A、B部分,家长在“朗读登记表”上签字.
2.和同学两人一组合作表演对话.
3.抄写B部分单词,并默写.
