【第一课时】
【教学目标】
(一)语言目标
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读新单词skip, basketball, football, table tennis.
2.句型:能用“What is / are they doing?”和“He/ She is/ They are -ing.”向他人询问某人正在做什么,并能对他人的询问做出回答.
(二)应用目标
1.能表达正在发生的事情.
2.能向他人询问某人正在做什么,并能对他人的询问作出回答.
3.能听懂、会说Part A部分的对话.
【教学重难点】
重点:
能听懂、会说、会读新单词skip, basketball, football, table tennis,并能用“What's doing?”和“He/ She is ing.”向他人询问某人正在做什么,并能对他人的询问作出回答.
难点:
(1)动词原形变v. –ing形式的规则,尤其是有的单词需要双写最后一个辅音字母再加ing.
(2)用现在进行时表达动作时,be动词容易被忽略.
【教学准备】
用于复习单词的卡片、用于新授单词的图片、单词卡片、足球、篮球服、篮球、跳绳、乒乓球、潜水眼镜或救生圈、书、笔、卡拉OK话筒等用于动作表演的道具,薄薄的长方形黑布一块(魔毯),小星星若干,教学音频(教师可在网络平台直接下载使用)等.
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)
1.Game:吹气球.
从屏幕底部依次升起大量的气球,学生快速认出气球上的动词,大声读出来并加以动作表演.气球可以分两批出现,用颜色区分开来,第一批为动词原形类,如:jump, run, swim, throw, fly, write, read, draw, paint, dance, sing, cook, eat, drink, play, watch, sleep;第二批为v.-ing类,如:flying, writing, reading, drawing, painting, dancing, singing, cooking, eating, drinking, playing, watching, sleeping.
2.Make dialogues.
准备:在课间,教师拍下学生的一些活动,或者安排学生做一些动作拍下来.
(1)教师引导学生根据照片,进行对话交流.先出水照片的一角,全班一起问,由照片中的学生站起来回答.然后再呈现整张照片,验证答案.
Ss: ________, what are you doing?
S1: I am jumping.
(2)两人一组,背对背,各自做动作,进行会话.
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.情境创设:The Sports Day.
(1)教师播放一段运动会上孩子们在运动场上玩得很热闹、很嘈杂的声音,其中夹杂着跳绳、游泳、跑步、踢足球、打乒乓球、拍打篮球和欢呼等的声音,让学生初步感知这些运动项目.例如:
T: Today is the Sports Day. Let's listen! The children are very happy. What are they doing?
Ss: They are playing.
(预测:学生回答后,教师顺势板书playing,为后面球类项目的学习作铺垫.)
2.New words.
(1)playing football, playing table tennis, playing basketball.
播放踢足球的声音,追问:
T: What are they playing?
Ss: They're playing football.
教师出示实物,教学football,结合动作读football, football, they are playing football.(板书)然后可以拿出一个足球(实物),一边用脚传球一边问答接龙What are you doing? I am playing football.
同样,用声音引入、结合动作跟读、借助实物表达分三步教学playing table tennis 和playing basketball.
Teaching Tips a.“授之鱼,不如授之以渔.”教师在单词教学的时候,要创造合适的机会,教给学生学习方法,渗透学习策略.如本课的新单词football,是典型的合成词,教师可引导学生观察这个单词的组成,从foot和ball组合的角度去思考,既能帮助学生理解词义,更有利于突破这一较长单词的拼写难点.最后,小结诸如此类的单词,如basketball, schoolbag, classroom等. b.在这一教学过程中,教师要不断输入如“What is he/ she doing? What are they doing?”的问句,为后面学习问句打下基础. |
(2)结合问句“What is ...doing?”教学 running, swimming, skipping.出示Amy头像,引出问句.让学生猜一猜Amy正在做什么,再由教师用“悄悄话”的方式告诉能大声说出问句的孩子.
T: Amy likes sports. On Sports Day, What's Amy doing? (板书:What's Amy doing? )
S1: Maybe she is playing football.
S2: She is playing table tennis.
S3: She is...
T: Who is right? Ask me, I will tell you the answer quietly.
(指向板书,带读问句.)
S3: What is Amy doing?
T: She is skipping.
(教师走向S3,凑到他的耳边,轻轻地告诉他这句话.)
S4: What is Amy doing?
T: ...
全班齐问,教师拿出实物,在台前一边跳绳一边大声揭晓答案,并板书、教读.选择两个组的学生上台,其中一组逐个做动作,全班同学提问:What is _______ doing? 另一组学生逐个回答: is skipping.
(说明:板书的时候,应该把双写的那一个辅音字母和ing用红色突出,教师要引导学生认真观察,发现这一特别的词形变化.)
3.操练词句.
(1)播放B部分录音,认真模仿、跟读.
(2)接力比赛(Relay game)
以小组为单位进行游戏,教师出示单词卡片,参与游戏的小组一人看卡片做动作,后一人快速根据班上其他同学的提问作答.以此类推,一分钟内完成问答最多的小组为胜.
Ss: What is A doing?
B: A is skipping.
Ss: What's B doing?
C: B is playing football.
...
(3)金手指(Golden fingers)
打开书B部分单词图,同桌之间展开对话.首先,由A同学在单词图中选择一幅图片,用小钩标记,注意保密,不能让对方看到自己的标记.然后根据自己心中标记的图片发问,B同学答句来猜,如果一次就猜中了则为“金手指”,两次猜中为“银手指”.然后由B同学问,A来猜,争夺“金手指”.如:
(A chooses and ticks a picture.)
A: What are they doing?
B: They are playing basketball.
A: No, what are they doing?
B: They are playing table tennis.
(B chooses and ticks a picture.)
B: What is he doing?
A: He is running.
B: Yes, golden finger!
(说明:问答时根据图片上的人物,要注意he, she, they的区别和正确使用.)
4.The dialogue.
课文学习:教师可分步骤引导学生先进行初步感知,再进一步理解、熟读、掌握课文,循序渐进地熟悉课文.
第一步:Listen and count.
不打开书,只听音,感受对话的大意.同时,注意听到了几个人物的名字,分别是哪几个人.
Ss: They are Anne and Benny.
T: What are they doing?
第二步:Listen, ask and answer.
打开书,听音,回答问题:
What's Anne doing? (She's skipping.)
What's Benny doing? (He's running.)
What're the boys doing? (They're playing basketball.)
第三步:Listen and repeat.
听音,跟读.引导学生正确模仿,提醒学生注意模仿语调.
第四步:Read and act.
引导学生表演,通过表演进一步理解对话内容,体验对话中的乐趣.
III. 趣味练习(Practice)
游戏:神奇的魔毯(Magic blanket)
准备:游泳眼镜、跳绳、足球服、乒乓球拍一对、篮球、篮球服、书、笔、卡拉0K话筒等用于动作表演的道具、薄薄的长方形黑布一块(魔毯)、黑布左右两边贴一些小星星.
规则:分男、女两队竞争.先请几名男同学到台前来,站在魔毯后面,音乐响起,每人快速利用一样道具做动作或装扮自己.音乐立即停止,魔毯拉开,男、女生进行问答对话,回答正确而流利则可以获得一颗星星.音乐再次响起,魔毯再次展开,孩子们五秒钟完成交换道具大变脸,幕布拉开,问答对话.
Ss: Magic blanket, one, two, three, four, five! (with the music)
S1: What is A doing?
S2: A is reading a book.
S3: What are C and D doing?
S4: They are playing table tennis.
【作业布置】
1.听录音,跟读课文,背诵或表演出来.
2.模仿A部分内容,和伙伴们一起创编新的对话,并表演出来.
