Audio and Video materials: Video clips of different types of adventure, interviews with adventurers
Procedure:
Warm-up (15 mins)
Introduce the topic of adventure and ask students to share their own experiences or dreams of adventure.
Play a short video clip of an adventure activity, such as skydiving or bungee jumping, and ask students to discuss their impressions and reactions to the clip.
Discuss as a class the benefits and risks of adventure.
Vocabulary (30 mins)
Introduce and explain the key vocabulary from the unit, such as adrenaline, expedition, gear, etc.
Ask students to work in pairs or small groups to create sentences or short paragraphs using the vocabulary.
Provide handouts with the vocabulary list and examples of sentences for students to refer to.
Listening and Speaking (60 mins)
Play interviews with adventurers or experts on different types of adventure, such as mountain climbing, scuba diving, or long-distance hiking.
Ask students to take notes while listening and prepare a short summary of the speaker's main points.
Divide students into small groups to discuss the following questions:
What is the main message of the interview?
What are some of the key characteristics of the type of adventure discussed?
How does this type of adventure benefit or challenge the adventurer?
Have each group present their summary and answers to the class.
Reading and Writing (60 mins)
Assign a reading task from the textbook, such as an article about a famous adventurer or a personal account of an adventure trip.
Ask students to read the text and prepare a short summary.
Divide students into pairs or small groups to discuss the following questions:
What is the main message of the text?
How does the author describe the adventure or adventurer?
What are your thoughts on the adventure or adventurer presented in the text?
Have students write a short essay on the topic of adventure, using examples from the reading and the discussions.
Reflection and Conclusion (15 mins)
Ask students to reflect on what they have learned in the lesson and how it relates to their personal lives.
Conclude the lesson with a group discussion on the benefits and risks of adventure, and how students can pursue adventure in a safe and responsible way.

Students' participation in group discussions
Quality of sentences and short essays using the vocabulary
Quality of summary and analysis of the interviews or reading
Reflection on personal connection and application of what was learned.
