设计说明 本单元主要复习英语中的六种基本时态。通过观察句子结构,分析句子所表达的意思,复习不同时态的基本知识。并通过选词填空、用所给词的适当形式填空等训练题,提高学生对语法知识的实际运用能力。然后通过听说训练,让学生动耳动口,巩固六种基本时态的用法,掌握与世界奇观相关的句子。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 (1)复习本模块新单词、短语及句型。 (2)复习六种基本时态。 2. 能力目标 (1)能够运用六种基本时态完成各种练习。 (2)能够问答与世界奇观相关的问题。 3. 情感目标: 通过学习世界奇观的相关知识,热爱生活,提高保护自然的意识。 重点难点 重点:本模块的重点短语和句子 难点:六种基本时态的用法和主要区别 教学准备 PPT课件;教材活动7、8的录音 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Language practice I visited the Giant’s Causeway two years ago. It produces electricity for millions of people in China. I’ve never seen it, so I’m not sure I agree with you. I looked to the east—the sky was becoming grey. You’ll get there in five minutes. Step 2 Grammar 六种基本时态 一、一般现在时 [注意]含实义动词的一般现在时态进行句型转换时通过助动词do或does完成。 I don’t know his name. 我不知道他的名字。 Does she do her homework at night? 她在晚上做作业吗? 二、一般过去时 [注意]含实义动词的一般过去时进行句型转换时通过助动词did完成。 My mother didn’t go shopping the day before yesterday. 我母亲前天没有去购物。 Where did you go last Sunday morning? 上个星期天上午你去哪儿了? 三、一般将来时 [注意] there be句型的一般将来时态构成为: (1) There is/are going to be... (2) There will be… 四、现在进行时
[注意]go, come, leave, arrive, fly等表示位置移动的动词,其现在进行时态通常表示马上或近期将要发生的动作。 We are leaving for Guangzhou tomorrow. 明天我们将动身去广州。 五、过去进行时 [注意]过去进行时强调在过去某个时间动作正在进行,时间较为具体;而一般过去时强调过去某个时间发生的动作,时间上不具体。 We played basketball last Sunday. 上星期天我们打篮球了。 We were playing basketball from 9 to 10 last Sunday morning. 上星期天上午9点到10点我们正在打篮球。 六、现在完成时 [注意]现在完成时态与表示一段时间的状语连用时,谓语动词必须是延续性的。非延续性动词要用相应的延续性动词或短语代替。 I have had the computer for more than 2 years. 我买这台电脑两年多了。 He has been in the army since he was 18. 从18岁开始他就参军了。 Step 3 Practice 1. It is the highest mountain in the world, at 8,844. 43 metres. The first people to climb to the top were Sir Edmund Hillary, of New Zealand, and Tenzing Norgay, of Nepal, in 1953. The Empire State Building in New York in the US is one of the tallest buildings in the world. And it’s also one of the modern wonders. It is 381 metres to the top and has 102 floors. Much smaller, although thousands of years older, is the Great Pyramid at Giza in Egypt. It was about 146 metres tall when it was first built. But over the years, it has lost about 9 metres, so it is now about 137 metres tall. It’s about 4,500 years old, and is one of the ancient wonders of the world. 3. Work in pairs. Stonehenge: a man-made wonder of the world Stonehenge is an ancient circle of stones in the south of England. It is about 5,000 years old. It was probably a place to bury dead people or a place to study the stars and the sky at night. There are dozens of stones, and they are different in height. The stones came from about 200 kilometres away. Some of the stones are missing, but it is still one of the most wonderful sights of the world.
