设计说明

首先观看一段运动的视频让学生回忆已经学过的和要呈现的运动项目，进而就学生最喜欢的运动项目和运动时间展开提问，为下面的听力和对话教学做好铺垫。听录音前，先展示几个听力技能，让学生带着问题去听材料，这样能培养学生获取关键信息的技能，最终让学生具备运用英语进行相关话题交际的语言能力。继续运动的话题，借助卡通人物Eddie，呈现出五个元音字母在重读闭音节中的音标，帮助学生在读与听的过程中反复记忆和消化读音规则，最终能熟练掌握，并将它们运用到对新单词发音的学习中去。

教学目标

通过本单元的教学，让学生达成以下目标：

1.知识目标

掌握词汇：table tennis, else, lot, a lot of, fun。

2.能力目标

（1）通过阅读和听力材料获取信息，并用所得信息将语篇补充完整；学会使用相关话题进行交际。

（2）了解五个元音字母在重读闭音节中的发音；运用所学读音规律，准确朗读新单词。

培养学生坚持不懈、勇于追求梦想的精神。

Step 1  Warming up

1.  Watch a video about sports and then learn some sports.

Step 2  Listening

1. Present some listening tips before playing the recording in Part A.

Tip 1: Try to guess the answers before listening.

Tip 2: Pay attention to the key words.

2. Listen and choose what sport they like.

3. Ask and answer according to the recording.

make sb. do sth./let sb.do sth. 意为“使某人做某事”。

【拓展】make sb. + adj.意为“使某人……”。

3. I read a lot of interesting books.我阅读很多有趣的书。

a lot of / lots of + 名词复数 = many +名词复数；

a lot of / lots of + 不可数名词 = much +不可数名词

I read a lot of / many interesting books.我阅读许多有趣的书。

I have a lot of / many friends.我有很多朋友。

I have lots of / much money.我有很多钱。

4. Reading is fun.看书是件有趣的事。

(1) reading是read的动名词形式，在句中作主语。单个动名词作主语时，谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。

Swimming in summer is fun. 夏天游泳很有乐趣。

Playing tennis is my hobby. 打网球是我的爱好。

Studying English well is very important. 学好英语很重要。

(2) fun是名词，意为“享乐，乐趣，有趣的事” ，此处用作不可数名词。for fun 意为“供娱乐、消遣”。

My grandpa learns to play cards just for fun.

我爷爷学着打牌只是为了娱乐。

1. Present five vowels /æ/ /e/ /ɪ/ /ɒ/ /ʌ/  by Eddie’s favourite players.

Eddie: Hi, I am Eddie. I like doing exercise. I want to be a famous player. First, let me introduce my favourite players to you!

Sun Qiang is my favourite swimmer. He is a good man. He has good swimming skills. He is the captain of the swimming team.
