设计说明 首先复习上节课中Sandy和Millie, Kitty, Simon, Amy所喜欢的运动, 引出话题;通过介绍老师自己喜欢的运动员的信息,呈现本单元的新单词和相关短语。运用对话,让学生加深对单词和词组的记忆,以此减轻学生阅读和理解课文的难度。通过略读和精读课文,让学生掌握文章的结构和脉络,最终学会用英语介绍自己喜欢的运动员。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握新单词及短语:player, member, club, free, hope, dream, true, come true。 2.能力目标 (1)能够读懂有关介绍运动员的文章。 (2)能够用英语介绍自己喜欢的一名运动员。 3.情感目标 鼓励学生多加强体育锻炼,告诫学生追求具有正能量的偶像,并能够将这种正能量发挥到自己今后的学习和生活中。 重点难点 重点:掌握一些重要的短语和句型 难点:学会用英语描述自己喜欢的一个运动员 教学准备 PPT课件;相关图片 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Ask students to revise : (1)What sport do Sandy and Millie often play? (2)What sport does Kitty like? (3)What about Simon? (4)What about Amy? Answers: (1) Volleyball. (2) Tennis. (3) Football. (4)Swimming. 2. Have a free talk with students: Do you often do sports in your free time? What sport are you good at? Who is your favorite player? [提示]free是形容词,意为“空闲的”;player是名词,意为“运动员”。 Step 2 Presentation 1. Present your favourite player to teach students some new words and phrase:

He looks strong and plays football very well. 他看起来很强壮并且足球踢得很棒。 (1)look常见用法如下: ①看(实义动词,look at…意为“看……”) Please look at the blackboard carefully.请注意看黑板。 ②看起来(连系动词look + 形容词) You look tall; she looks short.你看起来高,她看起来矮。 (2)well此处是副词,意为“好,令人满意地” Kitty dances very well.基蒂舞跳得很好。 5. I hope his dream comes true.我希望他梦想成真。 (1)hope + 句子,意为“希望……”。 I hope you’ll like it.我希望你会喜欢它。 【拓展】hope to do sth.意为“希望做某事”。 She hopes to go to Beijing next summer. 她希望明年夏天去北京。 【注意】英语中没有hope sb. to do sth. 的用法。 I hope him to come back early.
