设计说明 首先就学生的学校生活提问,从而引出每日在校的学习科目,开始新授单词的 呈现。通过学生操练最喜欢的科目对话,引导学生探讨Eddie最喜欢的科目,完成 动漫对话的教学。然后就学校活动中的开放日展开活动,这样一步一步地让学生了 解学校的具体生活,激发学生热爱学校,热爱学习的激情。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:which,best,so,biology,geography,history,date,meeting,o’clock,gate。 2.能力目标 (1)掌握中学常见的几门课程的名称。 (2)使用适当的语言谈论学校的生活。 3.情感目标 通过学习,培养学生对学校的归属感。 重点难点 重点:掌握中学常见的几门课程的名称 难点:使用适当的语言谈论学校的生活 教学准备 PPT课件;相关图片 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Have a free talk with students. Are you happy in your new school? What do you do at school? Help students answer:We have many lessons a day. Step 2 Presentation 1. Present some words: English,Chinese,Maths,PE,Music,Art,History,Geography,Biology,Computer studies,etc. 2. Practice:Finish Part A on page 31. 3. Ask and answer: A:Which of the subjects do you like best? B:I like… best because… What about you? A:My favourite subject is…because… 4. Listen and answer: a) Which subject does Eddie like best? b) Why can Eddie learn Maths well? 5. Read in roles and act out the Comic strip. Step 3 Presentation 1. Let the students read the dialogue of Part B. 2. Present Millie’s school timetable,including o’clock,parents’ meeting,October 10,School Open Day,etc.
3. Present the things parents do on an Open Day: have a parents’ meeting watch the lessons 4. Read and answer: 1 What time does the parents’ meeting begin? 2 What else do parents do after the meeting? 3 When and where does Millie meet her mother? Answers: 1 At two o’clock in the afternoon. 2 They watch two of their lessons. 3 They meet at the school gate at 1:30. 5. Ask the students to read and act Part B and make some notes. 6.
