设计说明

首先呈现中外的一些节日，然后通过图片呈现在不同的节日人们的活动，这也是呈现新授单词和短语的过程。接下来完成课本上让学生熟悉不同节日的练习，再延伸到Millie 和Tommy的对话，很自然地呈现谈论的内容；接着就以他们的对话为模本，讨论学生各自喜爱的节日，帮助学生进一步强化对本单元的话题的理解，同时也为Eddie和Hobo的对话打下基础。最后，在学生对中外节日有了一定的了解和认识后，对中外节日进行讨论，与此同时对学生进行爱国主义情怀的教育，完成本板块情感的升华，同时也完成学生对本板块知识的输出。

教学目标

通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标：

1.知识目标

掌握词汇：celebrate, guess, dress up, as, Christmas, festival, because, present, full。

2.能力目标

(1)学习中外著名的节日，并初步了解这些节日的庆祝方式。

1. Present some festivals in China and in western countries.
