The Beijing Hearing Dog Association (协会) has a plan. They plan to choose some stray dogs (流浪狗) and train them. Then the dogs will be able to help the old and the deaf.

A Day at the Nature Center
Emma stared(凝视) sadly out of the window of the bus. Only 50 miles outside town was the farm. She thought about the farm all the time, especially the animals.
When her family sold the farm and moved to nearby town, Emma was excited. But when she got to the new school, she felt very lonely.
With a sigh(叹气), Emma turned her attention back to the present. The bus came to a stop. “Welcome to the Leinweber Nature Center,” her teacher said. “A guide will give us a presentation about animals, and then you’ll help to feed the baby squirrels, now, I want everyone to find a partner. ”

Although half a century has passed, Shao Guohua never forgot the film ticket his teacher gave him that warmed his heart when he was a boy. Shao entered primary school in Zigong, Sichuan Province, in 1960, Back then, sports and watching movies were the students’ favorite times.
Once, the school organized a trip to the movies for the students, and many of Shao’s classmates signed (签约) up for it. But the boy had no money to buy the 0. 05-yuau ticket. Sometimes people cry when they are sad. Other times people cry tears of joy. But your eyes make tears all the time, whether you are crying or not. Do you know
the tears help keep your eyes healthy? They keep your eyes from drying out. A special area of the eye drips (滴) all the time. It keeps the eye humid.

Why are people hesitant (犹豫的) about sending thank-you notes? And how do most people react when they receive one?
Kumar and his team asked some students to each write a letter of thanks to another person. Then, they questioned both the writer and the recipient (接受者) about the letter and how it made them feel.
They found that people don’t like to write thank-you notes because they feel like they have to think too much about it. They worry about what to say and how to say it.
But people really like receiving thank-you notes. They feel especially happy.
“If people knew that writing a thank-you note can have such a big influence on the recipient, they would do it more often,” Kumar says.
Kumar says this study makes us think that simple, small changes in our everyday lives can make a big difference in how we treat other people and how we feel.

A Day at the Nature Center
Emma stared(凝视) sadly out of the window of the bus. Only 50 miles outside town was the farm. She thought about the farm all the time, especially the animals.

Although half a century has passed, Shao Guohua never forgot the film ticket his teacher gave him that warmed his heart when he was a boy. Shao entered primary school in Zigong, Sichuan Province, in 1960, Back then, sports and watching movies were the students’ favorite times.
