设计说明 首先,老师通过展示敦煌莫高窟和兵马俑的图片激发学生的学习兴趣;同时通过师生间的一问多答的形式引出本课时的话题Meet You in Beijing(在北京见);接着,学习本课生词,利用头脑风暴环节,练习生词,并充分发挥学生的聪明才智,利用所学生词编写简短的对话或小故事;然后通过听音选择,了解李明的邮件内容;接着,读短文回答问题,读短文填空,复述短文来步步深入地学习掌握课文内容;再次,用Dig In的内容练习大数的读法,并结合Let’s Do It! No. 4的内容练习大数的读法及句型“How far is it from…to…?”。最后,利用Let’s Do It! No. 3 练习由will构成的一般将来时。本节课内容较多,知识比较零散,但总体上是以课文为主线,展开各种练习。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词: exciting, along, kilometre, special, culture, arrive, leave 短语和句型: how far, along the way, arrive in, take a train We will travel along… How far is it from... to…? 2.能力目标 (1)掌握本课关于计划旅行的重点单词、短语及句型; (2)能用英语制定旅行计划,并能独立完成制定计划的任务。 3.情感目标 加深对祖国悠久文化和历史的了解,培养文化自信心和自豪感。 重点难点 1.重点:能够运用一般将来时。 2.难点:能提问并回答距离以及学会数字的表达。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warm-up T: Hello, boys and girls! Look at the following pictures. Do you know the places of interest in these pictures? Have you been there? S1: I know the second picture; it is in Xi’an and is called the Terra Cotta Warriors, or Bing Ma Yong in Chinese. S2: ... Step 2 Presentation 1. First, read the new words with partners, then show themselves. Other students listen and correct if there are some mistakes. exciting /ɪkˈsaɪtɪŋ/ adj. 使人激动的 along /əˈlɒŋ/ prep. 沿着…… kilometre /ˈkɪləmiːtə/ n. 千米,公里 special /ˈspeʃl/ adj. 特殊的;特别的 culture /kʌltʃə/ n. 文化 arrive /əˈraɪv/ v. 到达,抵达 leave /liːv/ v. 动身;出发;离开 2. Brainstorm Finish the quick quiz by spelling the new words according to the Chinese meaning or saying out the Chinese meaning, then make up a short story or a dialogue with the new words. Believe in the students, they can do it well. For example: Traveling is exciting. We can see the beautiful scenery along the way. And we can learn about the special culture. It’s usually thousands of kilometres away. In order to arrive there early, we should leave home early. Step 3 Listening Get the class to listen and tick the correct answers.(Let’s Do It! No. 1) 1. About a month. Step 4 Reading and answering Get the class to read the email and answer the following questions. 1. Who will come to China? 2. Where will Wang Mei and Li Ming meet them? 3.
