设计说明 首先,老师了解学生对词汇的掌握情况,并进行进一步的巩固练习;然后,老师通过欣赏几幅不同的图片来让学生了解兰州,通过对话或问答的形式,引出本课节的话题A Visit to Lanzhou (兰州之旅);先借助图片和句子学习本课生词并进行练习巩固;之后通过播放录音,了解Li Ming和Danny的对话,并通过听对话回答问题初步了解对话内容;接下来,通过读对话和回答问题深入学习了解对话内容。利用Let’s Do It!中的练习题对文章内容进行巩固。最后,利用第4题做笔头练习,然后讲解重要知识点并通过当堂检测进行巩固练习。从多个角度、多种形式上对本课节的语言知识进行练习,从而达到教学目的,实现教学目标。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:group, bridge, cross, wide 接触单词:cheese 短语和句型:go for a walk, walk along, go down, lead sb. to … , take a picture, in front of 2.能力目标 (1)掌握关于兰州旅行的词汇、短语及句型; (2)能够熟练运用本节课所学的内容,进一步巩固一般将来时的用法。 3.情感目标 了解兰州的风土人情,能够用英语给朋友们介绍兰州的情况。 重点难点 1.重点:掌握本课节中的重点单词、短语及句型。 2.难点:让学生学会运用一般将来时、祈使句和表达请求的句子。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in
Show some pictures about Lanzhou. Let students get to know about the city. Teacher points to the pictures and asks questions: T:What is it? S1:It’s the Yellow River. T:How long is the Yellow River? S2:It’s about 5 400 kilometres long. T:What do we call it? S3:We call it the Mother River. T:What’s this? S4:It’s the Lanzhou Zhongshan Bridge. T:What do you know about it? S5:It was the first bridge over the Yellow River. … Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach students to learn about the new words group, bridge, cross, wide and cheese with the help of pictures and sentences.

How many places do they visit when they walk along the Yellow River? What are they? Answers: Two places. They are the Lanzhou Zhongshan Bridge and the Mother River State. 3.Ask students to listen to the conversation again and read after it. Step 4 Reading 1. Let students read the lesson and answer the questions. (Let’s Do It! No. 2) (1) How long is the Yellow River? (2) What do Chinese people call the Yellow River? (3) Where does the group see the Mother River Statue? (4)What do the children say when Ms. Martin takes their picture? Answers: (1)It is about 5 400 kilometres long. (2) The Mother River. (3) Beside the Yellow River. (4) Cheese. 2.Let students read the conversation aloud by themselves for two times. 3.Ask students to role play the conversation with their partners. 4.Ask students to fill in the blanks with the words or phrases in the box. The group takes a train to Lanzhou. 这个团体乘火车去兰州。 (1) group 如果指代“整体”看作单数形式;如果指代“成员” 则看作为复数。 The group wants to visit Beijing. 这组想游览北京。 The group are having a meeting. 这组正在开会。 (2) take a train乘火车。它的结构是:take+a/an/the+交通工具,相当于“by+交通工具”。但是, “take+a/an/the+交通工具”在句中为“谓语+宾语”结构,而“by+交通工具”在句中作方式状语且常放在句末。 I will take a plane to Beijing.=I will go to Beijing by plane. 我将乘飞机去北京。 2. Later, they go for a walk along the Yellow River. 之后,他们沿着黄河散步。 go for a walk 去散步 Let’s go for a walk. 咱们去散散步吧。 3. It was the first bridge over the Yellow River. 它是黄河上的第一座桥。 ① over prep. 在……上(指垂直的正上方) There is a bridge over the river.河上有座桥。 ②over prep. 越过 I can jump over the wall. 我能跳过那堵墙。 4. Can we take a picture in front of the statue, Ms. Martin? 马丁女士,我们能在雕像前照相吗? (1) take a picture 照相,拍照,相当于take a photo。其复数表达为take pictures=take photos。“拍……的照片” 用“take a photo of…”表示。 I took many pictures of the pandas in Sichuan. 我在四川拍了很多熊猫的照片。 (2)【辨析】in front of与in the front of ① in front of 指在某事物外部或某一范围以外的前面; ② in the front of 指在某事物内部或某一范围以内的前面。 There is a tree in front of the house.房子前面有一棵树。 The blackboard is in the front of the classroom.黑板在教室的前面。 Step 7 Homework 1.
