四、课文讲解
1. Hw far is it frm Beijing t Xi’an? 从北京到西安多远？
Hw far 意为“多远”，用来询问距离或路程的远近，常用句型为：
Hw far is it frm A t B? 或 Hw far is B frm A?
答语为：It’s …meter(s)/kilmeter(s).
2. It’s abut 1,114 kilmeters.他大概有1114公里。
基数词用来表示数目，意为“几”。注意A、十位数和个位数之间加“-”；B、百位数和十位数（如十位数为零，则在百位数和个位数间）用and.千位数与百位数间and可有可无。
102 读作：ne hundred and tw
230 读作：tw hundred and thirty
789 读作：seven hundred and eighty-nine
1234读作：ne thusand tw hundred and thirty-fur
2008读作：tw thusand and eight
3. Arrive in Beijing.
到达某地arrive in(大地点)/at(小地点) = get t = reach
到家 arrive hme = get hme 到那 arrive there = get there
注意：如果没有提到“地点”，必须用arrive. Eg. When will yu arrive?
4. Cme back t Beijing and leave Beijing.
离开某地 leave sp. Eg. He wants t leave Shanghai tmrrw. 他明天想离开上海。
前往，离开去某地 leave fr sp. Eg. He wants t leave fr Shanghai tmrrw. 他明天要去上海。(相当于 He wants t g t Shanghai tmrrw)
注意：leave和frget的区分。当表示“把某物忘在某地”时，用leave sth sp.
Eg. He frgt his bk. / He left(leave的过去式) his bk at hme.
