Step 1 Warmup & Revision
1.游戏:What’s missing? 教师用课件呈现词汇图片,让学生看图快速读出:park,school,theatre,museum,zoo,shopping centre…稍后教师带读一遍,倒数10秒后,随意抽走其中一张图片,谁最快抢答出被抽走图片上的内容,谁就获胜,教师予以奖励。
2.教师播放一段视频,展示中西方重要的节日和文化习俗。稍后教师询问学生知道其中哪些节日,并向学生做简单的说明和介绍。

B Let’s Learn
1.创设情境
课前布置黑板板书,增添节日的气氛。课前谈话,出示课件或日历图片,引出新课情境。
T: What day is it today?
Ss: It’s…
T: What is the date today?
S1: It’s…
T: Look at the calendar, what is the date?
Ss: It’s June first.
T: Yes. It’s the International Children’s Day.
板书并带读International Children’s Day.
(预测:虽然这个节日名曾在四年级下册学过,但学生可能对单词international的发音不太流利,建议在此进行分音节式带读:International,international。)
T: The International Children’s Day is coming. What will you do on that day?
S1: I will sing and dance.
S2: I will go to the park.

2.New phrases
出示庆祝儿童节的班级舞会的图片。
(1) a class party,have a party
T: Look, we will have a class party on International Children’s Day.
板书并带读have a class party。
(2) play games,go to the theatre,go to the museum
出示B部分词汇图片,贴在黑板上。
T: We will have no lessons. What will you do?
板书have no lessons,“What will you do?”
S1: I will go to the theatre.
S2: I will go to the museum.
S3: I will play games.
学生说的时候教师板书这些词组在相应的图片下。
(预测:go to the theatre,go to the museum,play games这些词组都是学生曾学过的重点词组,再加之课前复习了一些地点名词,学生应该能够自己说出这些词组,教师只需在课堂上展示图片,给学生以直观形象即可。)
(3) have a rest
T: You can do many things on that day. But I am going to have a rest at home.
板书have a rest,并带读。
(4)词汇操练
①利用磁带的地道发音带读。
②Let’s PK。
小组比赛,以开火车的形式,一人说一个句子:I will…在规定的时间内说句子多的那一组获胜。
A Let’s Listen and Say
1.The dialogue

观看课文A部分视频,回答问题。

(2)Read and answer
细读课文,回答问题。
Q: What will Anne/Lingling/Mingming/Miss Li do on International Children’s Day?
(3)Read together and think
Q: In other countries, what do the children do on International Children’s Day?
(4)Listen and repeat
播放录音,学生跟读,模仿正确的语音、语调。稍后教师利用情境教学法,释义have fun和enjoy ourselves。
2.Practice(趣味练习)
活动:我们就爱演。学生选择课文中任意一幅或几幅插图,自由分小组进行表演。表演内容可自由发挥和拓展。最后,教师请几组上台展示。
Step 3 Consolidation & Extension
1.活动:句子大PK。
将全班分成两大组,A组第一位同学提问B组“What will you do on International Children’s Day?”B组第二位同学回答“I will...”或“We will…”然后向A组提出同样的问题,A组第二位同学马上回答,如此循环,在一分钟内回答问题最多的那一组获胜。
2.教师播放相关视频,向学生展示国外小朋友是如何庆祝和度过儿童节的,让学生谈谈自我感受。
Step 4 Summing up & Homework
1.小结:师生共同总结本节课的主要内容。
2.作业:①听录音,朗读A部分课文;②想想自己会如何度过即将到来的六一儿童节,写下自己打算做的事情。

5.了解六一国际儿童节的相关知识,自由表达节日计划。

Step 1 Warmup & Revision
1.游戏:短语对抗赛。将全班分成若干组,对抗赛在两个小组中进行,在教师宣布游戏开始后,第一组的第一名学生立即用中文说出一个短语(如:玩游戏),第二组的第一名学生应立即说出对应的英文,说对加分,说错或反应太慢的记负分,最后得分最高的组胜出,教师给予奖励。
2.Free talk.
教师与2~3名学生进行课前对话。
T: International Children’s Day is coming. What are you going to do?

1.完成表格
将C部分学习设计成为即将到来的六一儿童节庆祝活动列计划和安排。通过列表格的形式来完成。
T: The International Children’s Day is coming. We’ll have a class party. What will you do at the party?
S1: We will play games at the party.
S2: We will sing and dance at the party.
S3: We will take pictures at the party.
...
(预测:学生回答时可能只是说“We will play games.”教师注意提醒学生用完整的句子表达:We will play games at the party.)
T: I will wear my new dress to school. What will you wear?
S1: I will wear glasses to school.
S2: I will wear my new shirt to school.

T: We can also have some food and drinks at the party. What will you eat?

教师边听学生的回答,边将他们回答内容中相关的词组板书于黑板上的表格内,最后全体同学齐读这些词组。
2.听读Part C
学生跟录音朗读C部分句子。

D Let’s Read
1.Prereading
教师出示D部分右上角图片,和学生一起谈论图片。
T: Look at the picture. Where are they?
Ss: They are in the park.
T: Are they happy?
Ss: Yes. They are happy.
2.Whilereading
(1)学生观看D部分影音,初读短文,对于不理解的词组、句子,作上记号,并回答问题。
Q: What is the story talking about?
(2)教师帮助学生梳理难理解的生词及词组:fall,have cakes,a wonderful day...
(3)学生细读短文,回答下列问题。
Q1: When is International Children’s Day?
Q2: What do teachers/children/parents do on that day?
(4)学生齐读短文,找出下列问题的答案。
Q: Do the children enjoy the holiday?
(5)小组练习。学生两人一组,读一读Word Bank中的词组,并完成D部分的练习。

引导学生用自己的语言描述D部分下方的图片。

1.活动:选秀比赛。六一儿童节快到了,学校需要选出一批学生去参加区里的六一儿童节汇报演出活动。将教室布置成活动现场,教师扮演面试官,请几位学生上台表演才艺。表演前,教师提问:“What can you do?” “What will you do?”考生回答:“I can…” “I will…”教师再问:“Are you ready for the performance?”学生回答:“Yes.”几位学生表演完毕后,教师对被选中的学生予以表扬和奖励。
2.Let’s have a party
T:Choose your favourite festival, and have a party. Let’s make a plan for the party.
学生六人一小组,选择自己喜欢的节日举行一个party,和小组成员一起为party做一个计划。
备选的节日有the MidAutumn Festival,International Children’s Day,New Year’s Day,Christmas Day。

1.活动:看谁反应快。
教师快速出示词卡a class party,have a party,have a rest,go to the theatre,go to the museum等,学生快速认读。
2.活动,找朋友。(给单词找过去式)
教师出示一些动词原形与动词过去式词卡,学生看卡片读单词。教师把动词原形词卡发给读对的学生,让他们拿着卡片去找对应的过去式卡片。复习的单词有have,had,sing,sang,dance,danced,take,took,eat,ate,play,played等。

1.知识引入
教师和学生一起谈论去年的儿童节,询问他们是怎么度过的。引出一些动词的过去式。

学生在说的过程中,教师注意及时板书学生所说的词组,特别注意动词的过去式。

2.热身阅读
(1)引出邮件
T: Last International Children’s Day, I had a party with my friends. I wore my new dress. My friend gave me a present, and she wished me happy.
此处板书单词wore,gave,wished,并教读。教师随后出示一个礼物盒。
T: Look! This is the present. Please guess, what is it?
S1: It’s a cake.
S2: It’s a new dress.

课件出示一封邮件,内容如下:
