    The English spken in Australia, Great Britain and America has a surprising number f differences. Here are sme f the cmmn differences that yu will find between these three kinds f English.
    Prnunciatin amng the three types f English can be different. In American English, the “r” at the end f a wrd almst always affects its prnunciatin, while in Australian and British English, the “r” is ften silent. Australian English is unique due t the fact that many wrds have sunds that are gne. Instead f saying “gd day”, Australian speakers say “g’ day”. The main prnunciatin difference between the three, hwever, is the prnunciatin f the vwel(元音) sunds.
    Nt nly d the three types f English sund different, but they are als spelled differently. In sme ways, the spelling shws the difference in prnunciatin. Fr example, Americans use the wrd airplane. In Great Britain, the wrd is aerplane, and it is prnunced with an “” sund. Anther example is the wrd aluminium, which is the UK spelling, and aluminum is the US spelling. Can yu find the difference? In this example, the Australian spelling is the same as the UK spelling.
    Anther cmmn spelling difference between British English and American English is the use f ­ur r ­r at the end f a wrd. Fr example, in the UK, clur, flavur, hnur are wrds that all end with ­ur. In America, they are spelled with ­r endings. In Australia, the ­ur spelling is almst universal.
    Als, the endings ­re and ­er are different between different English dialects. In America, yu will g t the theater r fitness center, while in Britain yu will visit the theatre r fitness centre. Again, Australian English fllws the British way.
