We should always bear in mind that the consciousness of innovation is of great significance to us all.Hence，we need to develop a habit of discovering new things，using new methods and applying new thoughts in our work，study or simply everyday life.Innovation is the spirit of human being's progress.

Engineer Martin Bacon and a group of volunteers from Teesdale Conservation in Durham，England，have been hard at work making coffee grounds into something special：gas for a speedy coffee­powered car.The car ran entirely on coffee grounds and broke the world speed record for a car powered by organic waste.The coffee car，an adapted Rover SD1，averaged 66.5 mph，breaking the previous record of 47 mph achieved by a U．S. team which built a car fuelled by wood pellets.

Engineer Martin Bacon，with his team，removed all the equipment from the old car and refitted it with an onboard wood gas generator system，which turns waste coffee grounds into energy to drive the engine.Mr.Bacon said the car could run 100 miles on 10 kg of coffee grounds，collected from two local cafes.
