古人云:“勤能补拙”(Hard work can make up for the lack of intelligence)。请以此为题,说明只有勤奋才能成功的道理。
    【范文欣赏】
Numerous people are always complaining that they are less clever and therefore won’t succeed, while from my perspective, the key to success is diligence rather than intelligence. A man with average intellect may make great achievements as long as he perseveres in his efforts. On the contrary, many of those so-called gifted persons accomplish nothing, which resulted from the fact that they don’t work hard enough to achieve their goals.
There are considerable distinguished persons in history who kept working hard and succeeded in the end. Not until Edison conducted thousands of experiments by trial and error (反复实验)could he invent the electrical lamp. Furthermore, Lu Xun, the master in Chinese literature, once said to an interviewer that his success lay in his keeping working when others were chatting over a cup of coffee. Both Edison and Lu Xun are good examples for us to follow.
In a nutshell, hard work can make up for the lack of intelligence. Diligence is the mere access to success.
