1. Recognize and say integral and non-integral time
One o’clock one fifteen one thirty one forty-five
2.Can use the important sentences: (句型 )
A. –What time is it...?
B. --It’s...o’clock.
It’s one fifteen/thirty/forty-five.
--It’s time to….
Ⅱ. Teaching keys and difficulties : (教学重难点)
(1).Can express the time correctly
(2).Use important sentences to ask and answer.
(3).Make a dialogue to practice the sentences.
Ⅲ. Teaching aids:(教具)
objects, books, pictures, cards, multimedia and so on.
IV. Teaching Procedures: (教学过程)
Step1:Warm-up and lead in:
- Greeting and Guess a riddle
- Review the sentences about the time according to the pictures
A: What time is it?
B: It’s …o’clock.
Step2: Presentation and practice.
1. Read the sentences between the teacher and students ,boys and girls. in groups, and so on.
2. Consolidate the sentences in the language environment.
What time is it?
It’s six o’clock./seven fifteen/five thirty/eight forty-five.
It’s time to get up/go to school/go home/go to bed.
3. Read and practice the sentences in different ways.
4. Make a new dialogue according to the table.
5.Act out the dialogue in groups.
6.play a game to practice the important sentences.
Step3: Extention and show.
1.listen and follow the video to read the the sentence and different time.
2.Ask some students to read 1a to practice more .
3.Tell students some sayings about time.
5.Deal with 2 ,match and say.
First,read the sentences by themselves then match the pictures and sentences.Ask one student to finish 2 on the blackboard.Second,check answers and read the sentences together,
6.Do exercise.
7.Sing a song about tome together.
