    The thing is, it's nt actually ging anywhere. Fr all the sharp wrds and even sharper elbws thrwn arund by tilet paper marauders, they seem t be missing ne imprtant fact: There is n tilet paper shrtage.
    As The New Yrk Times pints ut, retailers that see their shelves emptied ften restck them in a day, ften in just a few hurs.
    Yu are nt using mre f it. Yu are just filling up yur clset with it," Jeff Andersn, president f paper prduct manufacturer Precisin Paper Cnverters, tells the Times.
    The thing is, the tilet paper-bsessed shppers have been infected with smething many times mre cntagius than any crnavirus: fear.
    “Peple are scial creatures. We lk t each ther fr signals fr what is safe and what is dangerus,” Steven Taylr, a clinical psychlgist at the University f British Clumbia, tells Fx News. “And when yu see smene in the stre panic-buying, that can cause a fear-cntagin effect.
