Ⅰ.阅读理解
I mved t the Spanish capital, Madrid, nearly tw mnths ag. I am here fr a year teaching English in a secndary schl as a language assistant. Befre I arrived I thught I wuld be able t adapt t Spanish culture very easily, but my previus expectatins have been very different frm the reality f Spanish life.
Firstly, I didn’t realize hw difficult it wuld be t adapt t the Spanish day and the timing f meals. Spanish “midday” is at 14:00, meaning lunch is never befre then. My expectatin was that I wuld be eating lunch at 12:00 t 13:00, but mst days it’s 15:30 befre I eat lunch. Can I really still call this lunch? The same applies t dinner and tea. In the UK, dinner is between 18:00 and 19:00, but nw the dinner time is 21:30. The thing I didn’t realize is that this affects the Spanish sleeping rutine. Eating dinner s late f curse means that Spaniards g t bed s much later. It is such a British thing t g t bed at 22:00!
Queuing (排队等候) plitely is als smething that is very British. I nly realized it when I arrived in Spain. I tk it fr granted that queuing patiently is as the nrmal thing as in Britain r cuntries like China, Japan and America. But this definitely isn’t the case in Spain. If there’s a free table in a restaurant, yu can quickly take it, even if there are ther peple wh have been waiting lnger than yu.
Finally, the reality f the Spanish diet is very different frm my expectatins. Fd prducts that are s nrmal in the UK aren’t nearly as ppular here.

A.At 14:00.
B.At 12:00 t 13:00.
C.After 15:30.

A.Eating dinner s late.

4.A 根据第四段中“A snack cake every time is kay.(每次吃一块点心就可以了。)”和“Instead, bring fruit bread as a snack.(相反,带些水果面包作为零食。)”可知本段内容与健康的零食有关,所以A项“避免不健康的零食。”与段意相符。故选A。
