    Glbal warming1. The planet has warmed anywhere frm 0.5 t 1.0℃ (1 t 2℉) ver the last century. 2. A definitin f glbal warming wuld have t include a measurable, cnsistent temperature rise, like the ne we have seen in recent histry. A questin remains – Is it an unusual change? Much debate abut that ne.
    Supplementary materials
    3. The earth gets ne kind f energy (visible light) frm the sun and gives ff anther kind (infrared红外线). This kind is what gets trapped by “greenhuse gases” (GHG’s) in the atmsphere.
    Greenhuse gases4. A greenhuse keeps warm by physically trapping the air inside and preventing cnvectin (对流). The atmsphere helps keep the planet warm by trapping utging radiatin instead.
    5. The leading gasses are Carbn-dixide, Methane, Ozne (臭氧) and Nitrus Oxide (一氧化二氮). Gas analyzers shw the cncentratins f this stuff have increased smewhat since the beginning f the industrial revlutin.
    6. The greenhuse effect raises the average temperature f the Earth by mre than 30 degrees, s withut it the Earth wuld be a very cld place!
