Russia's TASS news agency said the capsule carrying the tw men separated frm the trubled rcket safely. This caused the capsule t drp very sharply int the Earth's atmsphere. Parachutes(降落伞)helped slw the returning capsule. Search and rescue teams were sent t recver the crew.
Russia's RIA news agency reprted that Russia immediately suspended all manned space launches after the failure. Rscsms head Dmitry Rgzin said he had rdered a state cmmissin t carry ut an investigatin int what went wrng. He said Russia wuld share all relevant infrmatin with the U.S.

Unlike early space travelers, tday's astrnauts enjy varius freeze-dried meals, snacks, and desserts that can be cmmnly fund n Earth. Hwever, delicius as the fd is, it pales in cmparisn with a freshly-cked meal. Nw astrnauts at the Internatinal Space Statin (ISS) may sn be able t have freshly-baked ckies t eat, thanks t a newly-acquired space ven.
The ven built by NanRacks—a space cmpany that helps develp experiments fr the ISS—was sent t the ISS n Nvember 2,2019. It's specially designed t withstand the space statin's micrgravity envirnment. Mary Murphy, a NanRacks manager wh helped develp the space ven, says the biggest challenge was keeping the ckie dugh frm flating inside the ven.
T slve the hurdle, the inventrs decided t keep the ckie dugh inside a sealed tray that can be placed directly int the ven. Once the ckies are baked, the plate is autmatically transprted t an integrated cling vent(出口) which can nly be accessed nce the treats are at rm temperature.
Murphy says, “What is s interesting abut this is that it'll be the first time that smething will be baked in space. What will the ckies lk like? While we dn't knw fr sure hw the experiment will turn ut, we're lking frward t finding ut and learning hw t best bake fd prducts in space.”
While the ckies' appearance has been revealed, their taste will remain a mystery fr sme time. That's because the freshly-baked space treats have been returned t Earth t underg testing t ensure they're safe t cnsume.
8.Why is the ckie dugh kept inside a sealed tray when baked in the ven at the ISS?
A.T make it baked mre easily.
B.T prevent it flating in the ven.
C.T make it cnvenient t take ut.

    D.Their devtin t the research.
10.Why d the ckies need testing after they are baked?
    A.T cnfirm their appearance.
    B.T ensure that they're delicius.
C.T make sure f their security.
D.T knw if they are nutritius.
11.What may be the best title fr the text?
A.A special space ven is launched int the ISS.

Step int Mving t Mars, an exhibitin f the Mars missin and clny design at Lndn's Design Museum, and immediately yu have gd reasns fr nt mving there.
Frightening glwing wall-texts annunce that Mars wasn't made fr yu, that there is n life and little precius water, that, dressed in a spacesuit, yu will never tuch, taste r smell the planet yu nw call “hme”. As Lisa Grssman wrte fr New Scientist a cuple f years ag, “What's different abut Mars is that there is nthing t d there except try nt t die.”
It is an dd beginning fr such a celebratry exhibitin, but it prvides a valuable, dark backgrund against which the rest f the shw can sparkle(闪耀)—a shw that is, as its chief manager Justin remarks,“nt abut Mars;this is an exhibitin abut peple.”
Mving alng, there is a quick yet clear flash thrugh what the science-fictin writer Rbinsn calls “the histry f Mars in the human mind”. A Babylnian clay tablet and a Greek vase speak t early ideas abut the planet. A pster fr the riginal Ttal Recall film reminds us f Mars' psychlgical threat.
The main part f the shw is ur current plans fr the Red Planet. There are real spacesuits and mdels f 3D-printed Martian settlements and suitable clthing and furniture. Missin architectures and engineering sketches line the walls. Real hammers meant fr the Internatinal Space Statin are wall-munted beside a lw-gravity table that has yet t leave, and may indeed never leave, Earth.
This, f curse, is the great strength f appraching science thrugh design: reality and assumptins can be given equal visual weight, drawing us int an infrmed cnversatin abut what it is that we actually want frm a future n Mars.
12.What is the text mainly abut?
    A.Hw t mve t Mars.
    B.Hw t survive n Mars.
C.What preparatins we made fr Mars.
D.What the exhibitin f Mars truly tells us.
13.What can we learn frm Lisa Grssman?

    B.It's n gd settling n Mars.
    C.Yu have nthing t d living n Mars.
D.Yu can live n Mars in yur spacesuit.
14.What des the exhibitin fcus n?
    A.The current plans fr Mars.
    B.The advantages f living n Mars.
    C.The early ideas abut Mars.
D.The histry f Mars in the human mind.
15.What des the authr want t tell us in the last paragraph?

    A.An experience.B.An pinin.
    C.A fantasy.D.A slutin.

原句 Custmers at the market were s impressed by what they?d witnessed that sme even psted a pht n Twitter.
以至于……”,引导结果状语从句;what they?d witnessed作介词by的宾语。
the end f...
