知识讲解
1. But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits.
(1)whether引导的从句常可以与连词or或or not直接连用,而if一般不能。
(2)当宾语从句提到句首时,只能用whether引导,而不能用if。

that引导的是宾语从句,作动词show的宾语,宾语从句中包含了if引导的条件状语从句。
本句采用了It is + adj.+ for sb.+ to do sth.句型,It作形式主语,动词不定式to do sth.是真正的主语。
5. Even if you learn something well, you will forget it unless you use it. 即使你把某件事情学得很好,如果你不用你仍然会忘记它。
even if的意思是"即使,尽管",相当于even though。
unless的意思是"除非",引导条件状语从句,谓语动词使用一般现在时。
6. Good learners will keep practicing what they have learned, and they are not afraid of making mistakes. 好的学习者将保持联系他们所学到的,并且他们不害怕犯错误。
keep的意思是"保持",常用于keep doing sth.结构中,表示"持续做某事"。
what引导的是宾语从句,作practicing的宾语。
be afraid of的意思是"害怕",后面跟名词、代词或动名词。be afraid to do sth.表示"害怕做某事"。
