前置性作业: listen to the tape Pre-task preparations. 小组比赛。把全班同学分成两大组,快速出示千以内的数字给第一组的学生看(第二组的学生不能看),请第一组中的一个学生用英文大声读出这个数字,再请第二组中的一个学生在黑板上用阿拉伯数字写出这个数字,如果两个学生都对,每组各得一分,如果错,不得分,最后,哪个小组得分多就胜出。 T:(show the number 198 to Group 1)What number is it ? S 1: (form Group 1) It’s one hundred and ninety-eight. (S2 from Group 2 writes 198 on the blackboard.) 2.请一个学生介绍自己和家人的身高体重,然后教师询问其他学生善于这个学生的身高、体重的情况。 S1: My father is 175 centimetres tall and weighs 72 kilograms . My mother is 162 centimtres tall and weighs 54 kilograms . I am 156 centimetres tall and weighs 48 kilograms. T: How tall is (S1’s name )’s father ? S2: He is 175centimetres tall. T: How much does he weigh? S3: He weighs 72 kilograms. While-task procedures 1.请两个学生先表演Listen and say 中的对话。然后出示Look and read 的图片,教师提问引出:Look and read 的学习内容。 T:Joe ,where do you live ? Joe:I live in the city. T: Do you like living in the city ? Joe : Yes, I do , it’s very beautiful. T : Can you show us a picture of your city? Joe: Yes, this is the picture of my city . (point to the corresponding pictures.) 然后教师根据图片说出文字内容,在复习句型:there be 句型的同时,在黑板上板书新词:theatre. 用同样的方法教学Look and read 中的第二段内容。根据实际情况,也可让学生自己阅读,然后教师用提问的方式教学。 请学生跟读新词,教师视其具体情况提问: T: theatre Ss: theatre. T: What do people do in a theatre? S1: People see films in a treatre. S2: People watch plays and shows in a theatre. T: Is there a theatre near your home ? S3: Yes, there is . T: Do you often go to the theatre? S3: I sometimes go to the theatre with my parents. 出示Look and read 的图上,播放录,学生边听边看图片,并根据录音内容指出相应场所。再次播放录音,学生逐句跟读。鼓励学生尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。然后让学生两人一组分别描述反馈练习中的善于城市和农村的图片。鼓励学生以对比的方式描述城乡差异。 S1: There are a lot of tall buildings in the city. S2: There are some houses with yards in the countryside. 请每对同桌分别选择扮演Joe和George 的角色,介绍保息的居住地,教师在教学内来回巡视,如果学生有困难,及时给予帮助。 Post-task activities. 让学生两人一组介绍自己居住的地方,要求学生用there be 句型讲述自己居住的地方有哪些场所及人们在这些场所做哪些事情。 S1:There is a park near my home . People go to the park and play balll games there. S2: There’s a river near my home . People go fishing in the river . …… 请学生描述自己居住的小区或地区。教师可以视具体情况决定是否要给予提示或帮助。 S1: Hello, I am… I live in / on …(city .street). it’s a small /big town./ it’s a busy / quiet street. There are toy shops ,clothes shops and flower shops. I likevisiting thetoy shops .there are tow fruit shops in the neighbourhood. There are some restaurants too. People sometimes go to the restaurants to have lunch or dinner with their friends. There is a park near my home . People go to the park and enjoy themselves at the weekend.
