He nce rescues a yung native; he calls him Friday and they becmes clse friends.
    Fur years later, an English ship appears, and the captain gets Cruse’s help. As a reward, the captain takes Cruse and Friday back t English.
    It is ne f Charles Dickens’s best knwn wrks. It was the first f authr’s wrks t realistically describe the impverished Lndn underwrld and t illustrate his belief that pverty leads t crime. It has been adapted fr film several times.
