    (2) 巩固上节所学的过去完成时,并能讨论愚人节所发生的事。
    (二)、能力目标
    1.能够比较熟练地运用英语语音知识朗读篇章。
    2.学生捕捉语篇主题,理解细节,并推断语篇深层意思的能力。
    3.培养学生略读、精读的能力。
    (三)、情感目标
    帮助学生了解愚人节,开玩笑不能伤害别人的感情。

    1. Revise the three by’s stries happened n April Fl’s Day. Ask three different students t tell their stries t the class.
    2. Check the hmewrk.

    Step Ⅱ 2b
    Read the instructins t the students.
    Yu’ll have t read three articles. The three articles are abut three different stries happened n April Fl’s Day.
    Nt all f them are true. Tell which f these stries is the mst believable and which is the least believable. And yu have t tell the reasns as well. At last, think ver if yu wuld be fled by any f the stries.
    Read the first article t the class. The students lk at their bks, listen t the teacher and find ut the answers t the questins in the instructins.
    After reading, ask the students if it is believable and why. Ask several students t tell their pinins n the believability the first article. They may say like this:
    I think it is believable because the exact time and persn’s name are given in the first sentence, r, I dn’t think it’s believable because I think n ne dared t fl the peple like that.
    D the same with the tw articles left.
    Ask tw gd students t read the articles instead f the teacher. Elicit students’ reasns fr their answers. At last tell the students the crrect answer.
    Step Ⅲ 2c-2e
    Read the instructins t the class. Play the recrding again t help the students.
    Ask three different students t read the ntes t the class.
    Help the students make sentences with the ntes first.
    After making sentences, ask the students t write a magazine stry abut Nick in Activities 2a and 2b, using the ntes belw. As they write, mve arund the rm ffering help and answering questins as needed.
    After arund ten minutes, ask a student t read the cmpleted article t the class.
    The rest f the class help crrect the mistakes the student may have made. Get them t check each’ ther’s writing carefully in pairs.

    Read the instructins t the class. Be sure that the students knw what they are asked t d. At first, have the students think what they might write abut.
    Then tell them t make a list f ideas befre starting writing. The list shuld include the three parts, what happened first, what happened next, and what yu finally realized.
    Write a sample list n the blackbard:
    Next ask the students t write their jkes.
    Ask sme students t read their articles t the class. Crrect as many f the articles as pssible in class.
    Step Ⅴ Self Check.
    Read the instructins t the class. Review the meanings f funniest, mst embarrassing and mst creative.

    Ask a pair f the students t read it t the class.
    Then ask the students t read their stries t the class. After all f the students have read, ask the class t vte fr the funniest, mst embarrassing and mst creative stries.
