The dgs eventually wandered dwn t a neighbur's yard. Suddenly, I heard a cuple f gunshts. My sister's dg came back, and he was terrified. At that pint, I tried t lk fr Lucy and she never came back. I spent days searching fr my dg in fields and frests fr miles with n luck.
Talking with the neighburs, I fund Lucy was last seen playing with my neighbur's yung daughter. But the family didn't knw wh Lucy belnged t, and they assumed since she was wearing a cllar(颈圈), she'd find her way back hme. At that pint, I knew Lucy wasn't sht and she was still alive.
As the days turned int weeks, I made psters with phts f Lucy, putting up the psters fr miles and distributing them t my area's animal shelters and vets. I als psted pht after pht f Lucy n the Internet, hping smene might recgnize her. Many reached back and shared my psters, but n ne had seen Lucy. My biggest fear was that she was stuck in the rcks r smething like that. Nt knwing was just the hardest thing—nt knwing her cnditin r where she was.
Summer turned int fall and winter, and the pssibility f finding my dg was really small. My friends were trying t cmfrt me and said, “Well yu knw, she's prbably nt ging t cme back and yu may have t get a different dg. ” But I refused and wanted t find Lucy.
