    Teaching purpse①
    课前问好,拉近与学生之间的距离。合唱Chant,激发学生学习兴趣,复习旧知。“猜猜我是谁”的活动设计,以猜谜的形式描述小动物从而引入新课,充分调动学生的积极性。
    ▶教学过程教材分析
    本单元学习的主题是动物。教学内容主要是围绕教师与孩子们参观动物园的情景来展开的。教学重点是能听、说、认读核心句型“It’s (s) tall/shrt/… It has…”,能听、说、认读单词“tall, shrt, fat, thin, big, small, lng”。

    ·能够听懂、会说句型“It’s (s) tall/shrt/…”
    ·能够认读句型“It’s (s)… It has…”
    ·能够听、说、认读单词“tall, shrt, fat, thin, big, small, lng”

    ·能够在图片、实物或情景的帮助下运用句型“It’s (s)… It has…”描述动物并听懂别人的描述
    ·能够正确说出字母i在单词中的短音发音/Ι/,并能够根据其发音规则拼读学过的语音例词

    ·具有热爱动物、保护动物的意识;不乱逗玩动物或投喂动物等

    ·通过听录音,能够按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话,并在小组中进行角色表演
    ·能够在实际情景中恰当运用句型“Lk at…” “It’s (s)…”来介绍动物或者身边的物品
    ·能够听懂、会说新单词“tall, shrt, fat”,并恰当地运用它们来介绍动物

    Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin & Lead-in①
    1.Greetings.
    2.Chant tgether. (课件出示:教材P15 Let’s chant的视频)

    The teacher acts like an elephant.
    T: I have a lng nse. I have tw big ears and a shrt tail. Wh am I?
    Ss: Elephant!
    T: Gd jb! It’s an elephant. (课件出示:大象图片) Lk, it’s s big.
    T: The secnd ne. I’m white and black. I like eating bambs! Wh am I?
    Ss: Panda!
    T: Great! Lk, it’s a panda. (课件出示:熊猫图片)
    The teacher says and students fllw: It’s fat. Fat, fat. It’s fat. It’s shrt. Shrt, shrt. It’s shrt. It’s fat and shrt.
    Students read the wrds “fat, shrt” and the sentence “It’s fat and shrt”.
    T: The last ne. I’m very tall. I have a lng neck and legs. Wh am I?
    Ss: 长颈鹿!Giraffe!
    T: Excellent! Lk, it’s a giraffe. (课件出示:长颈鹿图片) It’s s tall. Teach the wrd “giraffe”.
    T: Befre the class, I’ll divide yu int tw grups: Grup Giraffe and Grup Bear. The grup which gets mre stars will be the winner.

    (Write dwn the wrds “fat, shrt” and the sentence “It’s fat and shrt” n the blackbard.)
    Teach the wrds “fat, shrt” by the wrd cards. Students read and pass the cards.
    T: Lk at the bear. It’s s fat.
    Fllw me. S—s—s↗, fat—fat—fat↘, s↗ fat↘.
    Lk at the giraffe. It’s s tall.
    Fllw me. S—s—s↗, tall—tall—tall↘, s↗ tall↘.
    Teach the wrds “s, tall” by the game: High and lw vice.
    (Write dwn the wrds “s, tall” and the sentences “Lk at the giraffe. It’s s tall.” n the blackbard.)
    3. Watch and answer.
    .T: Amy, Zhang Peng and Miss White are at the z, t. Let’s have a lk!
    Play the vide fr the first time. (课件出示:教材P24 Let’s talk的视频)

    The teacher plays the vide again. Students watch it and underline.

    (2)Give sme examples f the usage f “Ww” and “Ha”.

    (1)Students read after the recrding and pay attentin t the prnunciatin and the intnatin.
    (2)Students practice the dialgues in grups, then act them ut in class.

    3. Bing. (出示课件)
    Put sme pictures f animals such as pandas, dgs, cats, bears, elephants…int Bx A. Put sme wrd cards like “fat” “shrt” “tall” “big” “small”…int Bx B.
    Students chse ne picture frm Bx A and ne wrd card frm Bx B. Then make the dialgue.
    S1 chses ne picture frm Bx A: Lk at the dg./…
    S2 chses ne wrd card frm Bx B: Ww! It’s (s) fat…
    If the dialgue is reasnable, they can get the “Bing”.
