(1)let sb. in意为“让某人进入”,其中in是副词。
let sb. d sth. 意为“让某人做某事”。

(2)half the class 意为“一半的同学”,相当于half f the class。class是一个集体名词,强调整体在句中作主语时,谓语动词用单数;强调个体在句中作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
(3)“be+ding”是现在进行时结构。它也可以表示按计划或安排将要发生的动作,即“现在进行时表示将来”。常用的动词有:
去g;来cme;离开leave;搬动,移动mve;到达arrive;飞往fly等。

(4)have a great time意为“玩得开心,过得快乐”,其同义短语有:
①enjy neself ②have fun ③have a gd time
(5)if是连词,意为“如果”,可引导条件状语从句。
a. if条件句位置:①If+从句,主句。
②主句+if+从句。
If yu have it tmrrw,the students will leave early.
=The students will leave early if yu have it tmrrw.
b. if条件句时态:主句用一般将来时,if从句用一般现在时表示将来。简单记忆法:主将从现。
