Unit 1 ArtUsing Language Period 1 教学设计 教材分析本节课为Using Language板块的第一部分,该部分的活动主题是“谈论艺术作品(Talk about works of art) ”,听说文本是关于我国水墨动画片的主题演讲,演讲中首先引出主题——中国水墨动画片《山水情》,随后介绍了中国水墨动画片的创作背景,叙述了《山水情》的故事情节,并点评了其艺术特色和独特魅力,在演讲最后展望了中国水墨动画片的未来。教学目标 在本课学习结束时,学生能够:1. 通过观察图片,运用恰当的语言描述图片所呈现的信息;2. 把握主题演讲的要点和内容结构,并能运用到口语表达活动中;3. 根据话语标记抓住演讲内容的逻辑层次。教学重难点【教学重点】1. 能够运用所提供的重点词汇准确地描述图片信息;2. 能够基于听力语篇所提供的框架和语言素材,进行主题展示;3. 能够积累不同类型的话语标记,并灵活地运用在自己的主题展示中。【教学难点】通过听力本文获取关于中国水墨动画艺术的相关知识,了解中国传统艺术形式,提升传承中华优秀传统文化的意识和能力。教学过程Step 1 Warming-upCan you name some great Chinese artists?设计意图:激活学生关于中国艺术家的背景知识,并自然地引出齐白石和徐悲鸿两位著名的中国画家,为后续介绍中国水墨动画片做准备。Step 2 Pre-listening1. Before you listen, look at the following pictures and discuss the questions in groups. Use the words and phrases in the box to help you.These pictures are representative of ink wash animation films.
(1) Have you seen any of them before? What do you know about them?
(2) Describe the pictures using the words in the box. Then try to match them with the films names in the box.2. Background knowledge.设计意图:引导学生观察图片,引起学生对水墨动画片这一话题的兴趣,并简单介绍中国水墨动画片的相关背景知识。Step 3 While-listening1. Listen to the presentation and put the following items in the order that you hear them. 2. Learn the structure of the presentation.设计意图:帮助学生获取演讲内容的大意,并引导学生分析和把握主题演讲的结构框架,为后续的口语活动做好结构上的准备。3. Listen again and answer the questions.(1) Which film does the speaker mainly talk about?(2) When were the three ink wash animation films produced?(3) Why is the film regarded as a masterpiece of Chinese ink wash animation?(4) What is the speaker’s attitude towards the ink wash animation style?(5) How do you feel about this kind of film?设计意图:考察学生对听力文本的理解,引导学生关注细节信息,把握演讲的核心内容,从而训练学生听取数字、关注因果关系、提取评价性语言等微技能。4. Listen again and tick the signpost words that you hear.设计意图:要求学生关注演讲者所使用的话语标记,帮助学生更有效地获取信息,同时为后续的口语活动积累语言素材。Step 4 Post-listening1. Work in groups. Choose a work of art you like and prepare information about it. Use the table below to help you. Then give a presentation about the work of art to the class.2. Tips: Imitate the overall structure of the listening script. Choose the right signpost markers that you have learned to tell your listeners what is going to be talked about next. Use proper figures or examples to make your speech more convincing. Adopt vivid verbs, adjectives, and verbs to describe a story or convey your attitude.3. Sample Presentation设计意图:要求学生以小组为单位,模仿所听演讲的文本结构完成主体演讲,为学生提供口语表达的机会,同时也锻炼了学生的协作能力。Step 5 Assignment1. Search for more information about Ink Wash Animation Films in 21st Century. You can(1) compare the works in 21st Century with those in 20th Century, and think about the progress and shortage; (2) compare Ink Wash Animation Films with other forms of animation, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Ink Wash Animation Films.2. Write a short paragraph about what you have found.设计意图:让学生完成搜集21世纪以来的水墨动画作品信息,并鼓励学生进行横向和纵向对比,使学生更深入地了解我国的当代水墨动画作品,激发学生对中国艺术文化的兴趣,增强文化自信。
