     Simile(明喻): A simile cmpares tw things by using wrds such as “like” r “as”. eg. “Jhn is as cunning(狡猾的) as a fx.”
     Metaphr(隐喻): A metaphr cmpares tw things that are unrelated, but which are similar in sme way. eg. “That businessman is a real fx.”
     Rhetrical questin(设问): A rhetrical questin is a questin that isn't meant t elicit(引出) an answer, but is asked t make a pint. eg. “Hw culd I be s stupid?”
     Persnificatin(拟人): Persnificatin is when a thing, idea, r animal is given human attributes(特征). eg. “The sky weeps.”
     Qute(引用): T qute is t repeat a shrt passage, wrd, phrase, r sentence that came frm smewhere r sb. else. eg. “… as Lngfellw says, 'Music is the universal language f mankind.' ”
     Repetitin(重复): Repetitin is the use f the same wrd r phrase in a pem, speech, etc. eg. Julius Caesar's famus saying “I came, I saw, I cnquered.”
