Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up & Revision 1. Greet the class. 2. Ask and answer. What day is it today? What’s the date today? What are you doing now? What is … doing now? Whose … is it/are they? 3. Read the texts in this unit together. 4. Play a Sharp Eyes game to read and spell the four-skill words in Unit 5. 5. Review the different usages between the nominal possessive pronouns and the adjective possessive pronouns. 6. Open their books to Page 46 and Page 47, read and understand the sentences in Main scene. Then recite by themselves. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Ask and answer according to the pictures of Story time. Look! Where are Zoom and Zip? They are at the zoo. What are they doing? They are taking pictures. What are the monkeys doing? They are climbing. Help the Ss answer and focus on the phrase take pictures. 2. Look at the pictures of the story.
