Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up & Revision 1. Greet the class. 2. Look at the pictures and answer. What is Robin/… doing? What are the rabbits/… doing? 3. Review the story Robin at the zoo. 4. Recite the dialogues in Let’s talk. 5. Translate the sentences on PPT. Write on their exercise books. Check up the answers and emphasize the important points. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Let’s check. A. Look at the pictures of Let’s check and try to describe them. B. Listen to the tape and number the pictures. C. Check the answer together. D. Listen to the tape again and choose the right answers. E. Check the answers and read the sentences together. F. Listen and repeat the listening materials sentence by sentence. 2. Review the nominal possessive pronouns and adjective posse- ssive pronouns learnt before. 3. Read the Chinese chant together. 4. Let’s wrap it up. Books open, choose the words and complete the sentences on Page54. Ask some individuals to read the sentences and check the answers. Then the whole class read together. Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1. Finish the sentences according to the given words.
