1.T: We use adjectives t describe peple and things. We can put it befre a nun r after a linking verbs.
Present this by revising the three Ss ‘ appearance, trying t chse the adjectives t intrduce them,then shw them just like : a clever girl, an interesting stry
2. Present linking verbs
Step2 Cmparatives and superlatives
1. If they are alike, hw can we tell their difference?
E.g. Millie has lng hair, Sandy has lng hair, t.
We can say ‘Millie has lnger hair than Sandy.’(n Bb)
Millie is slim. Sandy is slim, t.
---‘Millie is slimmer than Sandy.’(n Bb)

2.Wrk ut the rule
When we cmpare tw things, we use cmparatives, and we put ‘than’ _____ the cmparatives.
When we cmpare mre than three things, we can use superlatives, and we can put ‘the’ _____ the superlatives.
3. A is taller than B. B is taller than C. S we can say A is the tallest f the three.
(give mre examples, make sure Ss can understand the difference between cmparatives and superlatives)

1. Ask Ss t cmpare their classmates, using cmparatives and superlatives.
2. Shw them sme pictures, asking them t cmpare them.
3. Shw them a table, asking them t cmpare the things in different ways.(PartB2)
