大多数形容词有三种比较等级：_____________________。形容词原形为原级；比较级和最高级可以分为规则形式和不规则形式。大多数形容词的比较级和最高级都是规则的，只有少数几个是不规则的。
(Cmparative and superlative adjectives)
一、单音节和部分双音节形容词比较级和最 高级的构成1. 一般在形容词词尾加-er或-est。如： kind — ________— ________ clever — _______ — ________2. 以字母e结尾的形容词，在词尾加-r或-st。 如： nice — _______ — ________ safe — ________ — ________
3. 以重读闭音节结尾且词尾只有一个辅音字母 的形容词，双写该辅音字母再加 ________。 如： thin — thinner — thinnest ht — htter — httest4. 以“辅音字母+ y”结尾的形容词，变__为_再 加_________。如： happy — happier — happiest pretty — prettier — prettiest
5. 有些形容词的比较级和最高级是不规则的， 需要逐个记忆。如： bad — _______ — _______ gd — _______ — ______ many / much — ______ — ______ little — _____ — ______ ld — ____________ — ____________ far — _______________ — _______________

二、用法在英语中，比较结构主要有三种：as ... as， 比较级+ than和the +最高级（+名词）+ 比较范围。1. as ... as结构这种结构的基本模式是“主语 + be + as + ____________+ as +________.”，该句型表示两者在某一方面相同。
当表示一方在某一方面不及另一方时，常用句型“主语+ be + nt + as / s + 形容词原形+ as + 比较对象.”。如：This pen is as gd as that ne.Yur huse is nt as / s big as mine.
2. 比较级+ than结构当两者(人或事物)之间进行比较，其中一方“较……”或“更……一些”时用_______，常用句型结构为“主语 + be + 形容词比较级 + than + 比较对象.”。如：Alice is taller than Mlly.I’m strnger than my brther.
比较级前可以用____________________等词语修饰。如：My brther’s huse is a little / much larger than mine.

3. the + 最高级（+名词）+ 比较范围结构形容词最高级常用于“主语 + be + the + 形容词最高级（+名词）+ 比较范围”这一结构中，比较范围常用含有_______________表示。一般情况下，如果主语与介词短语中的名词或指代词属于同一类，用___；如果不是同一类，则用___。如：Jim is the tallest f all the bys.Helen is the richest in (ne) her family.
形容词的最高级前一般要加_________，但如果其前有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格等时，则不再用_________。如：This is the ldest theater in Lndn.Mrs. Miller’s yungest sn is eleven years ld.有时最高级和比较级可以转换。如：Jane is the smartest f all the girls in her class. = Jane is smarter than the ther girls in her class.
三、多音节及部分双音节形容词比较级和最 高级的构成1. 多音节和部分双音节形容词的比较级是在 该词前加______，最高级是在词前加 _______。如： difficult — mre difficult — mst difficult careful — mre careful — mst careful
2. 有些双音节形容词的比较级和最高级在该 词后加________或在词前加___________皆 可。如： clever — cleverer / mre clever — cleverest / mst clever pleasant — pleasanter / mre pleasant — pleasantest / mst pleasant
四、用法多音节及部分双音节形容词比较级和最高级的用法和形容词比较级和最高级的用法____（两者作比较用比较级；三者或三者以上作比较用最高级）。如：The prblem is mre difficult than we thught.Wh is the mst careful student in yur class?I think this is the mst beautiful flwer f all.
【拓展】1. “less + 形容词原级+ than ...”表示 ______________。如： This stry is less interesting than that ne. She is less cnfident (自信的) than me.2. “越来越……”的两种表达方式：(1)用and连接两个相同的单音节及部分双音节 形容词的比较级。如： Our life is getting better and better. The weather gets warmer and warmer.
(2)用mre and mre加多音节及部分双音节形 容词_____。如： Lucy is becming mre and mre beautiful. Nick appears t be mre and mre careful.3. “the +比较级，the+比较级”表示 _________________。如： The mre, the better. The mre yu read, the better yu understand.
4. 最高级前可以加 _______。如： Jack is the secnd tallest in ur class. The Changjiang River is the third lngest river in the wrld.5. “ne f + the + 最高级 + 复数名词”表示 ____________。如： Amy is ne f the best students in my class. Miss Ga is ne f the mst ppular teachers in ur schl.
