“Rbts help peple by making their lives easier, safer, and mre fun,” says engineer Omar Abdelwahed.
Since Nvember, a rbt named Pepper has been n the jb at the Mandarin Oriental htel in Las Vegas, Nevada. When guests have questins r need directins, they can ask Pepper. They can als use the rbt's tuch screen t find the infrmatin they need. Pepper is able t talk with guests and entertain them with stries t. It can even tell what kind f md they are in.

Fr a kid, being in the hspital can be bring and even scary. But a small rbt called NAO is helping t make hspital stays easier. It was designed t keep peple cmpany.
A Tennessee dctr named Phil Parker bught a NAO rbt three years ag. He prgrammed it t talk t and play with yung patients. He brings it t hspitals t help sick kids. When kids get medical tests, NAO explains what is ging n. The rbts als reads t kids and plays games with them like rck-paper-scissrs.
