Stage 1 listening & speaking

Period1 Pre-listening (6 mins )

Share your answers with your partner and tell them your reason.

Task 1 (3 mins ): ① Work in groups of three.

 ② Act the story in your body language.

Task 2 (3 mins):   ① Work in groups of three.

        ② Act the story with your body language and words.

        ③ try to use the following expressions

Task 3 (2 mins) : Critical Thinking.

Compare these two ways of expressing a story, what role do you think body language plays in communication?

Stage 2: speaking and writing

Period 1: speaking (5 minutes)

 Task 1 :  creative  acting (2 minutes)

情景：今天你的同学到校时情绪很低落，但是你不知道为什么。

要求：和你的同伴讨论并设计一些能让人猜出她情绪低落的身体语言并进行表演

 示例： A：I think that there’s something wrong with Lin Pei. When she came in today, she kept her face down and wouldn’t speak.

B：Yes, when I saw her in class……

创造升级：

要求：请用身体语言表现出情绪失落的原因。

A: I think she was upset because the toothache because she held her chin and sniffed painfully. 我觉得她不开心是因为牙疼，因为她捂着她的腮帮子并疼的吸气。
