Step 1 Lead - in
Greet students and ask abut their weekend activities.
Shw a picture f a yard and ask students t talk abut what they can see in the yard.
Step 2 Wrk n 1a
Shw the picture in 1a and intrduce: "Lk at this picture. Can yu see different plants and animals in it?"
Write dwn the names f the plants and animals (baby chickens, dg, rabbits, tmat plants, flwers, apple trees) n the blackbard r prject them n the screen fr students t see clearly.
Ask students t match the plants and animals in the picture with their crrespnding English names. They can d it individually r discuss in grups befre giving their answers.
Step 3 Wrk n 1b
After the matching, guide students t discuss: "Nw, let's talk abut what we can see in the picture. Fr example, I can see sme tmat plants in the yard." Encurage students t use the sentence structures "This is a/an..." and "These are..." t describe the items in the picture and guide them t use cmplete sentences.
Ask them t use cmplete sentences.
Ask students t wrk in pairs t ask and answer. Then ask several students t act ut in class.
Step 4 Wrk n 2a
Review the English numbers students knw by asking them t say the numbers.
Write sme phne numbers, car numbers, QQ numbers and ask students t read.
Play the audi fr 2a and ask students t listen nce, paying attentin t the prnunciatin and intnatin.
Play the audi again and ask students t repeat after it, trying t imitate the prnunciatin and rhythm.
Play the audi fr the third time and ask students t read alud, ensuring that each student can clearly prnunce each number.
Step 5 Wrk n 2b
Infrm students: "Nw, I'm ging t say sme numbers again, but this time yu need t write them dwn."
Play the audi and ask students t listen carefully and write dwn the numbers they hear.
Check students' answers, crrect the errrs, and emphasize the crrect way t write the
numbers.

1. Tell the students what they need t d fr this task.
2. Ask students t read each questin and predict the answer. Explain the new wrds (gse, geese) and new structure "Hw many... d... have?"
3. Play the audi fr 2c and ask students t listen nce t get a general understanding f the dialgue's cntent.
4. Play the audi again and ask students t listen while circling the crrect answers.
5. Check students' answers and explain the key infrmatin in the dialgue, ensuring students understand the cntent.
6. Read the cnversatins in 2c.
Step 7 Wrk n 2d
1. Divide students int pairs and assign rles A and B t each pair.
2. Use the picture in 1a as a reference and ask students t practise a dialgue based n the picture's cntent. Fr example:
A: What's that?
B: It's a dg.
A: What are thse?
B: They're tmat plants.
A: Hw many rabbits can yu see?
B: I can see three rabbits.
Encurage students t enrich the dialgue with their wn language and pay attentin t prnunciatin, intnatin, and natural expressin during the practise.
Step 8 Summary and Hmewrk
Summarize the lessn by reviewing the new vcabulary and sentence structures.
Assign hmewrk: Ask students t draw their wn yard scene and write a shrt dialgue abut it using the target language.
