Researcher Prfessr Adam Leventhal said all previus research had fcused n the link between ADHD and televisins. “What’s new is that previus studies n thistpic were dne many years ag, when scial media, mbile phnes, tablets andmbile apps didn’t exist. We can say with cnfidence that teens wh are expsedt higher levels f digital media are significantly mre likely t develp ADHDsymptms in the future,” he said.
Leventhal believes the findings help fill a gap in understanding hw newmbile media devices and seemingly limitless cntent pse a mental health risk frchildren. And the findings serve as a warning.
British scientists welcmed the findings. But Prfessr Andy Przybylski f theOxfrd Internet Institute said, “The study relies n survey respnses prvided bythe students in questin. It is nt clear if teachers r parents wuld rate the childrensimilarly r if the self-reprted measure f digital screen use is related with eitheractual behavir r higher quality survey items.”

22.(8分)A gd mther is smene wh wuld sacrifice everything fr her children. It is cmmn t hear parents saying, “Hw culd yu d this t me after all the sacrifices that I have made fr yu?”Mst parents are driven by lve. It is equally cmmn t find children answering, “When did I ever ask yu t sacrifice fr me?”There is ften a grain f truth in children’s wrds. The truth usually hurts.
Parents ften cnfuse selfless lve with sacrifice. In fact, the frmer is a self-serving act driven by ne’s desire t live up t ne’s standards. T sacrifice means t relinquish things f high value fr the sake f anther thing that ne cnsiders being f great value. That sunds s negative. Hwever, self serving isn’t necessarily negative. It is human t act ut f their desire t seek pleasure and avid pain. T lve ne’s children essentially means accepting them uncnditinally. It fllws that full acceptance f the children is usually pssible nly when parents fully accept themselves. It is n secret that lving the children begins with lving themselves.
The sacrifices they make fr their children are cuntless, and I’ve tried t put sme f thse sacrifices here. After becming a parent, a cuple’s life is centered n their little kids. Suddenly the baby tps the list f all relatinships. Sme friends and family members drift apart frm parents emtinally. A kid demands undivided attentin till he r she becmes independent.
Many parents suffer relatinship issues because they spend mst f their time either wrking r caring fr kids, which causes a fading emtinal cnnectin between cuples. In terms f career, mst f the time, a mther makes sacrifices. Many parents take up jbs that allw them t spend mre time with their kids. Sme parents usually give up n their favrite fds just t buy fds fr their kids. Hliday plans are decided by kids’ educatin.
Parents have uncnditinal lve fr kids. A parent never retires. As a daughter, and a mther, the mre I g thrugh parenting, the mre I we an aplgy t my parents because f their selfless lve.

D.They are nt ld enugh t understand their parents.

3、There are smetimes sme prblems between parents because ________.
      A.they just think abut themselves
B.they dn’t care abut each ther at all
C.they spend little time lking after kids
D.they are less cnnected t each ther emtinally

B.Parents make great sacrifices fr their children.
C.Children and parents shuld respect each ther.
D.Cuples have many prblems after having kids.
