      4.Students are able t master the cmmn prnunciatin rules f the vwel letter “” and the cmbinatins “a,u,w,ear,air,are,ure,ur”,the prnunciatin f cnsnant cmbinatins “sk,sch,st,sp,str”.Thrugh practical exercises with wrds and sentences,enable students t prnunce accurately and experience the influence f stressed syllables n the meaning f wrds and sentences.
      难点:
      1.Students are able t accurately express each step f making mashed ptates in English cmpletely and cherently,including the sequence f steps and the use f cnjunctins like “first” “then” “next” and “finally”.
      2.Students are able t understand the relevant backgrund knwledge,better grasp and use related English expressins,and understand the Western cking cultures and habits that may be invlved when intrducing recipes.

      Step 1 Lead-in(1a)
      1.The teacher shws students sme ingredients r seasnings like pepper,salt,sugar,cinnamn,and butter,and asks students t smell them ne by ne and guess the names f the ingredients,then shws the actual items.

      T:Hw wuld yu use these ingredients t make a dish?

      Step 3 Prnunciatin & Speaking(1~2)
      1.The teacher shws sme wrds t students and asks them t put the wrds in different categries accrding t the underlined letters' prnunciatins.
      2.Ask students t prnunce the wrds and write dwn the underlined letters' phnetic symbls.

      1.Ask students t listen t the recrding and repeat after the recrding.
      2.Ask students t add ne mre wrd accrding t the prnunciatin in each grup.

      1.Invite students t share their experiences f making milk shakes,and the teacher lists the steps with stick figures n the blackbard (e.g. peel,cut int pieces,mix,blend).
      T:Wh lves banana milk shakes? What's the secret t making it tasty?
      2.Ask students t listen t the recrding and repeat after the recrding. Students pay attentin t the intnatin and pauses in these sentences.
      3.Ask students t d the sentence relay in grups. Each imitates the ne instructin ne by ne.
      4.The teacher gives each grup a set f step cards (in randm rder) and asks students t imitate the prcess f making a banana milk shake. They must read alud the intnatin and add actins.
      5.The teacher prvides cmments and summarizes the key pints.

      —First,wash the ptates and cut them int pieces.

      —Next,put the ptates in a pt and bil them until they are sft.
      Then,add the milk and the butter t the ptates,and mix.
      After that,get ne tablespn f butter and half a cup f milk.
      Finally,add salt and pepper.
