Rejin yur riginal grup. Share what yu learnt in the ther grup.
Tday, ur grup wuld like t share sme interesting custms between China and Brazil.First, let’s talk abut greetings. In China, we usually shake hands and smile when we meet smene new. Fr gd friends, we might pat each ther n the shulder. But in Brazil, peple are much mre warm and utging—they ften greet with a big hug and even cheek kisses, even if they just meet fr the first time!
Next, clthes. In China, we like t dress mdestly. Fr business r frmal events, we ften wear suits r ther frmal clthes. Brazilians lve bright, clrful and casual clthes in daily life, but when they g t parties, they dress very elegantly and eye-catching.Then, giving and receiving gifts. In China, we always give gifts with bth hands, and we never give clcks r pears because they sund like bad luck in Chinese. Als, we usually pen the gift later, nt in frnt f the giver. But in Brazil, peple give gifts with ne hand, and they pen the gift right away t shw hw happy and thankful they are.
When visiting thers, Chinese peple always bring small gifts like fruits r snacks, and we try t arrive n time. Brazilians are mre relaxed abut time—they might arrive a little later than the planned time, and they ften bring flwers r chclates as gifts.Fr eating custms, Chinese peple use chpsticks and share all the dishes n the table. Brazilians use knives and frks, and they lve their famus barbecue, called churrasc. Their meals are usually slw and lively, full f laughter with family and friends.
Finally, cnversatin tpics. In China, we like t talk abut wrk, family and daily life, but we avid asking abut age, mney r ther private things. Brazilians are big fans f ftball, music and festivals—they lve talking abut these tpics and keep their cnversatins very lively and fun!
