T test the butterflies’ spatial learning abilities, the researchers set up experiments acrss three different spatial levels, each reflecting behavirs significant t their natural envirnment. First, they checked if the butterflies culd find fd amng 16 flwers in a small area. Next, they enlarged the space, seeing if the butterflies culd chse the crrect side f a larger maze (迷宫) fr fd.
