A team f scientists frm the United States and Denmark recently published their findings. They discvered that small pieces f plastic, called micrplastics, are flating in the air all ver the wrld. These tiny plastic particles (颗粒) are s small that they can be breathed in by humans.
The researchers cllected air samples frm 11 lcatins arund the wrld. They used special equipment t filter (过滤) the air and cllect the micrplastics. They fund an average f 1,000 pieces f micrplastics per cubic meter f air. In sme places, the number was even higher.
