Tens f millins f bees are likely being killed each day by vehicles in the western United States, a new study finds. Every trip resulted in at least ne bee death, and they fund 14 different species.

Based n traffic data that means several millin bees are killed when 94,000 cars travel that rute each day. Millins f cars run in Utah daily, and similar trips happen in nearby states, s the ttal number f bees killed each day in the regin is likely in the tens f millins.

Chinese New Year used t be a daylng celebratin fr us. My parents tried really hard t recreate the seasn fr my sisters and me here in America. Tens f millins f bees are likely being killed each day by vehicles in the western United States, a new study finds. Scientists have studied the “insect disaster” by cunting dead insects alng radsides. Mst studies have fcused n frests and larger insects. But bee diversity (多样性) is greatest in dry, pen areas, and mst bees are tiny — just 2 t 25 millimeters lng.
A research team frm Utah State University studied bee deaths by driving n highways, paved rads, and unpaved rads during the day when bees are active. They made 29 trips arund Utah in spring and summer, traveling mre than 9,334 kilmeters, and identified bees that were hit by cars. Every trip resulted in at least ne bee death, and they fund 14 different species.
The researchers guessed that ne car driving between Salt Lake City and Mab might kill 50 t 175 bees. Based n traffic data, that means several millin bees are killed when 94,000 cars travel that rute each day. Millins f cars run in Utah daily, and similar trips happen in nearby states, s the ttal number f bees killed each day in the regin is likely in the tens f millins.
Althugh the numbers are based n simple assumptins, they are still imprtant. There are ways t reduce these deaths. Research has shwn that bees usually avid crssing rads unless there are plants in the middle. S, creating healthy habitat alng bth sides f a rad, but nt in the middle, culd help.

根据第三段中的“They made 29 trips arund Utah in spring and summer, traveling mre than 9,334 kilmeters, and identified bees that were hit by cars. Every trip resulted in at least ne bee death, and they fund 14 different species. 每次旅行至少导致一只蜜蜂死亡,他们发现了14种不同的蜜蜂)”可知,第三段列举了相关数据,说明蜜蜂被汽车撞到的情况,结合第四段中的“The researchers guessed that ne car driving between Salt Lake City and Mab might kill 50 t 175 bees. Based n traffic data, that means several millin bees are killed when 94,000 cars travel that rute each day. Millins f cars run in Utah daily, and similar trips happen in nearby states, s the ttal number f bees killed each day in the regin is likely in the tens f millins.
根据最后一段中“Research has shwn that bees usually avid crssing rads unless there are plants in the middle. S, creating healthy habitat alng bth sides f a rad, but nt in the middle, culd help.
通读全文,尤其是第一段中“Tens f millins f bees are likely being killed each day by vehicles in the western United States, a new study finds.

The celebratin lasted thrughut the day and late int the night, with ne traditin fllwing anther.
根据第一段“On New Year’s day, my family, including all my uncles, aunts, and cusins, dressed in new clthes, gathered at my grandma’s huse. Kids were pulled ut f schl, and adults tk the day ff. The celebratin lasted thrughut the day and late int the night, with ne traditin fllwing anther. 故选A项。

There isn’t really a check bx that I can mark. I am Chinese-Vietnamese-Asian-American.
根据最后一段“I nw have tw little bys. It saddens me t think they will never be able t experience what my sisters and I did as little kids during this hliday. Recently, fr the first time, I’ve hung up Chinese New Year decratins arund the huse and replaced ur Christmas wreath (花环) n the frnt dr with decrative firecrackers.
