My mther made a gd pint.Ellen was tw grades ahead f me.In the fall,I’d be ging int furth grade,and Ellen wuld be ging int the sixth grade.The sixth graders were in the lder girls’ cabin,and the furth graders were in the yunger girls’ cabin.Mm appreciated my enthusiasm,but she als knew I was naturally shy.I culd tell she was wrried that I’d get all the way t camp and then beg t cme hme.
In the end,Ellen and her mther came t my rescue.They smehw cnvinced the camp directr t allw me t stay with Ellen.But befre I left,Mm tld me,“Better safe than srry”.S when I gt t camp,I unpacked my bags in the lder girls’ cabin.
