1. 动词不定式的构成由“t+动词原形”构成，有些情况下可省略t。是非谓语动词的一种，没有人称和数的变化，在句中不能作谓语。
2. 用法(1) 作宾语，常接动词不定式作宾语的动词有want, refuse, frget, need, try, learn, chse, agree, help, hpe, wish, expect, decide, begin, start等。Lily wants t find a jb as an English teacher in Beijing. 莉莉想在北京找一份英语教师的工作。
(2) 作宾语补足语，常接动词不定式作宾语补足语的动词有：ask, allw, tell, want, teach, wish, help, warn, invite, encurage 等。Sam asked me t help him. 萨姆让我帮助他。
(3) 作目的状语，动词不定式作目的状语可以放在句首， 一般用逗号与后面的内容隔开，也可以放在句尾。T get there n time, they started early. 为了准时赶到那儿，他们很早就出发了。
注意(1) 动词不定式的否定形式是由“nt+动词不定式”构成。Jim tld me nt t eat junk fd. 吉姆告诉我不要吃垃圾食品。(2) 动词不定式可与疑问词what, which, hw, where 等连用。I dn’t knw hw t d. 我不知道怎么做。
(3) 在某些复合宾语中，常用it代替不定式作形式宾语，而把不定式放在后面。I find it useful t learn English well. 我发现学好英语很有用。(4) 表示感觉的动词，如see, hear, ntice, feel等，以及使役动词let, have, make 等后常用省略t的不定式。I heard her sing a sng in the next rm. 我听见她在隔壁房间唱了一首歌。
