      1. Be able t recgnize the health prblem expressins like runny nse, flu, temperature, virus;
      2. Be able t understand the cnversatin between the dctr and Helen and extract the details f Helen's cnditin;
      3. Be able t read and act ut the dialgues f 3c in rles, and create new dialgues between dctrs and patients based n the prmpts f 3d.

      Guide students t create lgical and cmplete medical cnversatins based n different cnditins (such as headache and cugh).
      三、Teaching Steps
      Step 1 Lead-in
      (1)Quick Respnse
      Present pictures abut varius health prblems and practice with the structures given.
      A:What’s the matter?
      B:He/She has a ________________.
      A:What shuld(nt) he/she d?
      B:He/She shuld(nt) ____________________.
      Shw pictures f the flu seasn and ask: "If yu have the flu, what will yu d?" Will yu g t see a dctr?”
      Guide students t think abut the medical treatment scenari, naturally leading t the tpic f this class
      Step 2 Learn abut the health prblems(3a)
      Present the pictures cncerning the health prblem in 3a t let students identify the tpic-related wrds.
      have a runny nse, have the flu, take ne’s temperature, take sme medicine, drink enugh water, wear a mask
      Step 3 Reading and answer questins(3a-3b)
      (1)T:There is smething wrng with Helen.(3a)
      Let’s read the cnversatin in 3a and figure ut what’s the matter with Helen.
      Check answers with students:
      She prbably has the flu.
      (2)Read again and write ntes in the table.(3b)

      The dctr's advice:
      take sme medicine and drink enugh water; rest at hme and nt g t schl; wear a mask when she's utside
      Step 4 Rle-play the cnversatin(3c)
      (1)Ask students t read the cnversatin tgether after the audi.

      (2)Then, wrk in pairs t practice the cnversatin and chse 3 pairs t shw.
      (3)Fill in the blanks based n the cnversatin.
